About Rocksport Residential Programs

Rocksport Residen�al Programs are experien�al learning holidays for 9-17-year olds. Campuses for these
programs are located near popular tourist des�na�ons and are nestled in the lap of nature, providing a
superior alterna�ve over tradi�onal holidays. During the course of the program, students perform
adventure ac�vi�es, explore the local towns, converse with the communi�es and learn new skills. The
programs also offer a unique experience of being one with nature as students learn about flora and fauna
and appreciate the calmness and beauty of nature. By working together, they learn the importance of
teamwork; iden�fy their strengths, challenge their fears & become confident and responsible individuals.
Adventure Trip to Chail
SKILL OF NAVIGATING THE HIMALAYAS
Learn to navigate through the treacherous mountain trails of Himalayas
buy using compass and map and use natural resources to survive
Students par cipate in orienteering ac vi es and learn about survival skills. They take over the forest in small
groups using map and compasses to explore the mighty Himalayan terrains. During the course of the camp, they
learn to pitch their own tent, visit the local communi es and experience the thrill of ziplining and guerilla
warfare. They also trek through the deodar forest, learning about flora fauna before arriving at a spot with a
glorious view of snow clad peaks.
Travel Away
350 km from Delhi and just 15 km from Chail into the thick forest
of Deodar.

A Day at Camp
At Rocksport Residen�al Programs, experiences are designed in accordance with ayurvedic doshas to
enhance self-discipline and promote an ac�ve lifestyle. The day is divided into 5 phases that aligns
students with their natural body clock and helps them master the art of being their most produc�ve
selves.

6:00AM – 9:00PM Mastering the art of waking up early

This is the �me of the day when rigorous exercise, breathing
and medita�on are most beneficial. Staying ac�ve and ea�ng
healthy keeps students energised throughout the day.

9:00AM – 2:00 PM Mastering the art of hard work

The best �me of the day to get things done and complete the
most difficult tasks. The hardest challenges and the most
important tasks can be easily completed during this phase.

2:0 PM– 5:00 PM Mastering the art of creative thinking

This �me of the day is most suited to do crea�ve thinking,

problem solving or other ac�vi�es that require brain power.
Doing mental ac�vi�es can reap wonderful rewards at these
hours.

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Mastering the art of introspection

The most ideal thing before the day ends is to sit back and
reflect. Si�ng in solace, introspec�ng or wri�ng a journal allows
learning and helps prepares for another produc�ve day.

7:00 PM – 10:00 PM Mastering the art of de-stressing

These last few hours of the day should be spent doing calming
ac�vi�es with friends & family. Ac�vi�es such as singing and
sharing stories promoted bonding amongst peers, releases stress
and prepares for a restora�ve night.

19 June 2023 Dinner, Prize Distribu�on Dance and Music, Overnight at Camp

Day 5 Wake up and freshen up, Yoga, Breakfast

A visit to Viceregal Lodge, Shimla & Lunch at Mall Road Leisure �me at
20 June 2023 Mall road. Back to camp by 5 pm. Evening Snack, Camp Games,
Journal Wri�ng Reflec�on at Bonfire Dinner, overnight at camp

Day 6 Wake and Freshen up, Camp Pack up

Breakfast, De Briefing and Feedback, Departure for Delhi, Lunch En- route,
21 June 2023 Dinner at Delhi and drop at Airport at 2300 hrs.

Arrival Day Students board flight midnight/next day early morning.
