Katies writing

Katie Bohati grew up in Cedar. She first started writing a year ago.
She hasn't always liked writing. In fact, she used to despise it! She
found that she prefers calligraphy pens better than regular pens and
pencils.

In addition to writing, Katie also likes reading. Her favorite writer is

Nicholas Sparks. She said he inspires her so much with her writing!
She is currently reading, “The Best of Me” By Nicholas Sparks.
Katies favorite novel genre is romance. She enjoys reading just as
much as she enjoys writing.

Katie really enjoys writing. She does most of her writing at night, she
likes to write about her day. She said that writing “energizes” her. She
also enjoys reading her stories to her friends and family. Katie writes
every single day. She prefers to write nonfiction rather than fiction.
Katies inspiration comes from boredom most of the time. She does
most of her writing about real things and people, her
experiences/stories. I asked her if she thinks that people who have no
emotion could write, she said no. Writing is a passion that Katie will
continue to pursue.

In conclusion I think Katie is very dedicated to her writing.

About the author

I'm from a small town called Maple Ridge. My family decided to move
to the island due to multiple reasons, mostly because traffic was
really bad over there. When we first moved to Nanaimo, I would
consider that house “my childhood home”. We lived in that house for
9 years, but it got too expensive so we moved to cedar. I would
consider my home life really good. I live with my two very supportive
parents. My mom and dad, I also live with my brother Seamus and my
two dogs Guinness and Yoda. I enjoy cooking and baking with my
family, and that's all about me!
