AIA and UTC
During the third and fourth weeks of May, Athletes
in Action (AIA) Movements across the country sent
their involved student athletes to one of two
Ultimate Training Camp (UTC) locations; Fort
Collins, CO, and St. Paul, MN. AIA at the University of
Minnesota Duluth (UMD) was no different. Next
month you will hear from Jake, a current student
athlete with the UMD Football Program, about how
God moved in his life at UTC, but for now I want to
share more about AIA and UTC.
As you most likely already know, AIA is Cru’s
athletic ministry. Since 1966, AIA has been helping

UTC is AIA’s high intensity sports camp. At UTC,
collegiate and professional athletes 1.) Tackle the
issue of how to blend faith and sport together in
every aspect, 2.) Cover the topics of motivation,
attitude, focus, leadership, persevering through
tough times, and winning and losing, and 3.) Learn
five Biblical principles that impact their faith/sport.
