FOREWORD
Land Administration plays vital role in progress of the country
as it is the basic asset in any economic activity. For the past several
years a number of reforms have been taken up by the Government
for welfare of the citizens and for quick disposal of grievances in
matters related to ROR, Mutation etc., It has been requested by
several Revenue Functionaries that, in view of the fast changing
circumstances and the magnitude of changes, the latest position in
regard to The Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass
Books Act, L97L and Rules 1989 may be used in a consolidated
manner.

In the Changing Scenario and to benefit the public under

Resurvey, Gramakantam rules have been framed to provide
certificate of ownership in Gramakantam Lands and to provide
faster mutation services.

hope this book will benefit Every Revenue Officer to
understand the latest Position in respect of The Andhra Pradesh
Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 and Rules 1989
administered by them, and thereby assist them in providing
satisfactory services to the public.
