DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
The helicopter can be raised by a hoist, with the main rotor and transmission
installed or removed, using the adapters as illustrated. It can also be raised
using three jacks, and jacking adapters, positioned under the specified
points on the bottom of the fuselage.

MAINTENANCE INFORMATION
To lift helicopter with main rotor installed, use a hoist with a 3500 kg load
minimum capability. Remove main rotor hub cover and fit hoist ring to hub
retention nut, connect hoist to hoist ring and lift helicopter.

CAUTION
BEFORE HOISTING HELICOPTER, ENSURE THAT
SURROUNDING AREA IS COMPLETELY FREE OF ANY
OBSTRUCTION, LIABLE TO DAMAGE HELICOPTER.

CAUTION
DO NOT JACK HELICOPTER OUTSIDE, IF WIND VELOCITY
EXCEED 20 KTS, HEAD HELICOPTER INTO PREVAILING WIND.
DO NOT CLIMB AND DO NOT KNOCK HELICOPTER WHEN IT IS
RAISED ON JACKS.

Transportation of damaged helicopter for short distances may achieved by

fitting the helicopter itself with another helicopter.
Transportation for long distances should be made using a truck. The
helicopter should be firmly secured to the platform of the truck and, if
necessary, the tail boom should be removed from the fuselage. In the
relevant maintenance manual are reported the information for slinging or
transportation of damaged helicopter.
