Beep! Beep! Beep!

Joohyun groaned, awoken from her alarm. She turned it off and checked the time on her phone.

"Joohyun-unnie! Manager-nim is here." She heard Sooyoung's voice, her ears ringing from
the sudden loud voice as she got up

"I'll be right there!" She managed to reply back, checking herself on the mirror before going to
her bathroom to re-freshen.

"Manager-nim, you're up early. What's the news?" Joohyun asked the man on the sofa.

"Joohyun-ssi. Take a seat." She took a seat across from him, "Since I'm currently busy
taking care of my wife for our baby, the company decided to give you an assistant next
week to help with your extra work." Weirdly, the others squealed at this idea. Joohyun
thought.

"An assistant? That's so cool!"

"Is it a girl?"

"Are they hot like me?"

"Why is that your question?" Joohyun looked at Sooyoung, "Why not?"

"Well, I actually don't know their gender but they're younger than most of you so you'll be
fine." Manager-nim said.

"I really hope they are though." Yerim muttered not so quietly, Joohyun heard it.

"Yay! Does that mean Joohyun-unnie will get bitches?" Seulgi happily clapped at the idea.

"Yah, Kang Seulgi! Language." Joohyun cocked her eyebrow at her fellow member who
frowned, she turned to their manager.

"I'm confused on why I need an assistant? I'm already sure that I can handle all of it."

"PD-nim suggested this idea, since all of you have busy schedules. Especially Joohyun,
you are the leader." The manager politely smiled. "I'm not gonna be here next week
sometimes."

"Yeah, I know. But I can handle it." She nods.

"Your guys' assistant will be there for all of you, but their main focus is Joohyun since
she's the leader."

"This is a good thing! Less work for us." Seungwan jumped, making Joohyun sigh in defeat.

"Fine, we'll see what'll happen."

"Hello my idiot sibling, starting next week, you'll be working for Red Velvet's leader."
Ji-eun, your sister said, causing you to jump off your couch.

"First of all, never scare me like that. Second of all, WHAT?!" You hit your sister on the
shoulder gently, you think she's crazy to make some weird joke.

"You thought you'd take over the company, huh? What's the point of taking care of our
parent's company when you don't even know what to do!" Ji-eun said a very good point.

"I do have experience, if you're referring to that."

"That kind of experience doesn't involve doing stocks or some shit like that, besides, I
don't even think Mom and Dad know about your little side job."

"Don't act like you're not one too…" You said, shaking your head in disbelief.

"Argh, fine. I'll just stop if I'm too tired to go." You relaxed on the couch, closing your eyes
while listening to your sister ramble on how Red Velvet is an easy group to handle.

"Why are you worrying so much? I'm sure the members will get comfortable with you."

You opened your eyes, "Don't they have a manager or something?"

"Their manager is busy with important family… things… Whatever!" Ji-eun smiled at you
"You can't say no to this either, since Mom and Dad said---"

"No company, yes." You groaned, sighing while thinking about it… "At least I have Seulgi
to--"

"To help you, because she's in your unit." Your sister smirked.

"Stop saying that," you rolled your eyes, "I miss Seulgi anyway."

"Whatever, They're hot as fuck. I can tell you that."

"When am I supposed to meet them again?"

"Monday, 9AM." Ji-eun specified, "Excited to meet them?"

"If that's what you're thinking, probably half of a yes and a no."

Ji-eun chuckled, wanting to tease their sibling even more… "You know, their leader is
working everyday, like no breaks and all! So don't be a baby and let her do all of it."

"I don't even know what they do there…"

"You better be searching them up on Google."

MONDAY…

Beep! Beep! Beep!

You yawned, turning off your phone's alarm after finding it on the desk. You waste no time
before preparing for your first day of working for Irene (Your boss' desired name) and her
members. Spraying a nice vanilla scented perfume.

"You think she's gonna smell you?"

"ARGH!" You dropped your perfume, thankfully it wasn't made out of glass.

"Woah, surprised?" Ji-eun joked out "Uh?! Yes I was, dumb shit." You rolled your eyes
"Anyway, what are you doing in my house? Again?"

"I came to support my little sibling, duh! And also a free ride to go to the company,
hehe."

"I can never say no to a pretty person like you, Ji-eun-unnie." You smiled as you closed the
driver side door or the car

"Aw really?" She cooed "Yes, really."

After you dropped off your sister at the company, you went straight to Red Velvet's house.
Check yourself at the side mirror of the car to see if you're okay enough. Finally, you're now in
front of their house. Hesitant to ring the doorbell…

Ding Dong!

After a few seconds, two people opened the door, you assume it's Sooyoung and Yerim.

"Holy shit, he is hot." Sooyoung whispered to Yerim,

"I'm pretty sure he's a she…" Yerim whispered back,

"Hah! Come in."

"Fuck, what's her name?" Yerim looked at Sooyoung "How am I supposed to know his
name?"

"What's your name?" Seungwan beat them to it.

"My name is---"

"Is the assistant here?" You got cut off by a voice, also assuming it was Joohyun, your boss.

"Yep!"

"Well, might as well introduce ourselves. I'm Yerim!"

"I'm Sooyoung, but I would like to call you mine." Yerim punched her shoulder.

"I'm Seungwan, you can call me Wendy though."

"The assistant!" Seulgi, the only member you knew, came out from a room.

"I'm sorry for the interruption of Joohyun-unnie. What's your name?"

"My name? Oh, it's---"

"Joohyun-unnie!"

A girl, smaller than Seulgi, focused on her iPad. Was scolded by the other members.

"Unnie! The assistant."

Both of you looked at each other, eyes locked. Her cat-like eyes gazing at you, you think it's
cute. It is cute, said by the writer.

"Did I interrupt anything?" She questioned.

"Yeah, she was gonna say her name."

"Ah, yes. Of course."

You bowed, "Hi, everyone." You said nervously. "I'm--" You stopped as Joohyun looked at you.
A bit too long actually. It's weirding you out. After that, she walked away from the others.

"Intimidated?" Yerim asked you.

"Certainly not, I'm just… thinking."

You walked over to Joohyun.

"Ah, Ms. Irene, would you mind if I could arrange the schedule for you?"

Joohyun looked at you, it made you flustered.

"A-ah… I just think you need a break from working everyday." She smiled at you, she
smiled. It made your heart feel warm. "Don't worry about that, please take a rest."

"Did you see that?" Sooyoung said,

"No, I didn't… Of course I did!" Yerim scoffed at her comment,

"Hey! Have you eaten yet?" Wendy or Seungwan called you over, "Ah, yes. I did. Have you
girls eaten yet?"

"Nope." Sooyoung said.

"Nah! We planned to eat outside." Yerim said.

"Okay, let's go." You said, all the girls following you while Joohyun looked down at her shoes,
maybe flustered but you don't know.

"Joohyun can take the passenger!" Sooyoung screamed while smashing in-between her
members in the back of the car.

You opened the door for your boss, Irene. "After you, Ms. Irene." She smiled politely and went
in.
"Oh! I just texted the others, they want to come as well!"

"The others?" You questioned Yerim, looking at the mirror above you.

"Blackpink, you know them right?" Yerim asked, "Yes, I do."

Arriving at the restaurant that the girls were at, your phone vibrates when you are sitting at a
separate table from them to keep some space. Checking your phone you see Manager-nim has
sent you their next schedule. You grabbed Irene's iPad from your bag, and started to organize.

"Who's that? I thought this was a private room…?" You heard another voice that just went
into the room, but since you didn't want to invade their privacy, you stopped listening and went
back to focusing on the schedule.

"That's our assistant, don't worry."

"It's also Joohyun-unnie's girlfriend."

"No, it's not." Joohyun quickly shot down the comment.

"We should eat now!"

After Seulgi said that, the four members sat down at the table. One girl pops out with her bright
orange hair, Lisa. Another member of your unit, the girls looked at you looking at Lisa, maybe a
bit jealous but just got back from eating and talking.

You are now in a clothing store, you don't know what since you were focused on cleaning off a
few mistakes you did on the schedule. Another member of Lisa's group, Rosé, who prefers to be
called Chaeyoung, said that they're going to another store.

"Can you carry this for me?" Irene said, with her arms linked with Jennie, "Of course." You
smiled.

More and more shopping, your arms occupied with strings holding all the new clothes your boss
bought.

"Let me help you---"

"Yah, Seulgi-unnie! Come here for a second." Yerim called over Seulgi. "Wait…!" She
screamed.

"This is good…!" Seulgi said licking her ice-cream, as you put their bags in the back of your
car you went back to them.

"Ah, Ms. Irene--"

"You can call me Irene."

"A-ah, Irene… You have a bit of ice-cream on your…"

You grabbed a napkin from your bag and started to rub off the stain on her face carefully. You
heard a couple of squealing in the back, it made you flushed. "Okay that's enough!" You widen
your eyes.

Slap!

She slapped your hand away from her face, oh, you realized you were cupping her face. "A-ah!
Irene, I'm so sorry…!"

Joohyun ran, weird. Where is she going? "Wait in the car, I'll be right back!" You said quickly
to the others before running after the flustered Joohyun.

What the fuck…? You saw a guy, who was looking at Joohyun with a disgusting smirk.

"Hey there, I was thinking… Maybe you and I could grab a couple of drinks." He said while
touching her sides, "Yah, don't touch me!"

Your instincts kicked in almost instantly, pushing the guy away from Joohyun, "What the hell
are you doing?"

"And who are you supposed to be?!" The guy exclaimed.

"Why does that matter? Stop touching her."

You screamed enough so that the people could hear it, it made the guy embarrassed as a lot of
people were taking pictures of him and talking about him. You turned to Joohyun.

"Are you okay? He didn't do anything to you, right?"

"Yes, he didn't."
You smiled at her so innocently, it made her giggle at you.

"Is this normal for you? You didn't seem so scared when he… you know…"

"No, not really."

"Let's go back, it's getting late."

"I'm heading out, see you guys tomorrow!"

"Bye bye, new assistant!"

You chuckled, what an interesting day.
