THAISA MENEZES
Thaísa started playing volleyball at the age of 14,
for the Tijuca Tenis club in her hometown. In a short
time she was called to join to the Brazilian youth
team, it's important to recognize that she continued
to play in the club, this impressed the coaches.

In 2005 she was the youth world champion with the


Brazilian team and the youngest player among all
the participants in the competition.
CLUBS
She was playing in the Minas-Tenis club before being
transferred to the Rexona-Ades club, when she has been a
two-time super league champion in the last two seasons.
Thaisa was the best player in the volley team that she
received many offers from other clubs, but thaísa stay with
the Carioca Club led by coach Bernardinho.

Thaísa was called to integrate the twelve athletes that


would make up the national squad for the Pan American
Games in Rio de Janeiro
TOKYO 2021
In 2021, she was unable to participate in
Tokyo 2021 after she suffered a serious
injury in 2016 that complicated his return
for a few months. In the end of that year
she officially announced his retirement
from the Brazilian Volleyball team.

PARTICIPATIONS
After her participation in the World Championship in
Japan, Thaísa established herself as a player in the
Brazilian national team participating in different
competitions.

One of her main achievements is the gold medal in


the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the
Guadalajara Pan American Championship. 2011
