SCIENCE ACTIVITY- PLANTATION DRIVE
CLASS - IV

Dear Parents,
Greetings of the day!
The Science Department is organising a Plantation Drive on 23rd May 2023 in the school for
the students of class IV.
The main Moto for organising this activity to spread the awareness about the importance of
plants with “Go Green” slogan along with protection of environment.
Under, this drive students will go for a nature walk to know the medicinal plants available in
the school campus as well as they will plant the saplings.
Students have to bring sapling of medicinal plants from home and learn two lines about
that plant with the scientific name (botanical name) of the plant.
Students will wear SASH of Green colour with a slogan GO GREEN

 You have to prepar Sash at home with green

coloured chart paper.
 Wear the sash on shoulder and tuck it with
safety pin.
 Use the given sample to prepare sash.
