Disassemble Transmission Hydraulic Control Valves (Earlier)

START BY: 

a) remove transmission hydraulic control valves

1. Disassemble the selector and safety valve as follows:

a) Remove valve spool (1) from the body.

b) Remove valve spool (2) from the body.

c) Put pressure on spring (8). Remove ring (5) and stop (6) from the stem assembly. Release the 
pressure on the spring slowly.

d) Remove stem assembly (10), valve (9), spring (8) and spacer (7). Remove dowel (11), spring (4) 
and ball (3) from the end of the stem assembly.

2. Disassemble the flow control valve as follows:
