Directions: In your assigned research group, collate all the review tasks of the members. Write a
short essay following the attached rubric.

The lesson contained information about the nature of inquiry and quantitative research. Inquiry is the
quest for truth or knowledge. It is also a dynamic process of being open to wonder.
A variable is an object, feeling, time, period, or any other type of category which can be measured. An
observation is a realized value of a variable while data is a collection of observations.
There are two types of variables: independent and dependent variable. Independent
variables are the cause variables while depended is the effect variable.
There are four aims of research, which include to produce new knowledge or information, to utilize
new knowledge, to validate existing knowledge, and to improve the researcher.
