Quiet Moscow
A Short Story
by Untitled writer
Molly Zeus looked at the tiny record in her hands and felt irritable.
But not even a patient person who had once brought a combative
baby back from the brink of death, was prepared for what
Kimberly had in store today.
Molly looked back, even more calm and still fingering the tiny
record. "Kimberly, exterminate," she replied.
They looked at each other with fuzzy feelings, like two obnoxious,
open ostriches skipping at a very stingy funeral, which had piano
music playing in the background and two splendid uncles eating
to the beat.
Then she let out an agonising groan and collapsed onto the
ground. Moments later Kimberly Bogtrotter was dead.
Molly Zeus went back inside and made herself a nice beaker of
squash.
