When it comes to discrimination against race in the workplace it is one of the most
common types of discrimination that can be found at the workplace. Racial
discrimination can be said to be any discrimination against any individual on the
basis of their skin, color or ethnic origin. With racial discrimination it occurs when
people of different skin color work together in the same organization, and there are
cases where there are intense suspicion of a particular person during the instances
where there are cases of items or products getting missing in the organization when
the person is completely innocent because of his or her color

discrimination policies, such as an equal opportunity policy. It is also important to
set out what is and is not acceptable workplace behavior. This helps to reduce
confusion about discrimination and can help the business to build a safe,
productive and respectable workplace environment. Businesses can follow some
processes to prevent and help address discrimination in the workplace. These
include;
Regular monitor and evaluate progress; This can help solve discrimination
by reviewing data on work diversity, conducting employee surveys, and
analyzing reports of discrimination incidents.
Encourage open communication and feedback; Management should create
an environment where employees feel comfortable raising concerns about
discrimination or bias. This can be achieved by providing multiple channels
for feedback such as suggestion boxes
Create and implement an antidiscrimination policy; A clear and
comprehensive policy that outlines the organizations commitment to
equality and nondiscrimination is essential. This policy should include
guidelines for addressing and reporting incidents of discrimination and
should be communicated to all employees
Hold all employees accountable; All employees, including management,
should be held accountable for their actions and behavior. This includes
taking appropriate action against those who engage in discriminatory
behavior
