SPECIAL CROCHET TECHNIQUES
CROCHET IN SPIRAL
Work the required stitches into the magic ring. When the first round is worked, immediately
go into the second round. You do not have to turn your work or join the round with sl st. To
count rounds, place a marker at the end of the first round.
CROCHET IN ROWS
Finish the rnd normally and join with sl st but NOT turn the work. Now you should starts the
next rnd with the indicated number of chains on pattern. Start crocheing at the same st (this
chains does NOT count as a stitch).
CHANGING COLOR
First, at the last st before the color change, pull up a loop as if to make a single crochet but
don't pull through the second loop to complete the stitch (you should have two loops on your
hook). Then, complete the single crochet by pulling through a loop of the new color. Continue
the round as usual.

EARS (SKIN COLOR) Crochet hook 2.75 mm
1. (1 sc, 2 hdc, 3 dc, 2 hdc, 1 sl st) in a magic ring (9)
* Close the magic ring without joining to create a semicircle
* Sew on black markers
HAIR
Cut brown yarn strips (as many as necessary) 12 in approximately and try to follow the natural
line of the hair. Once the hair is placed, collect in a ponytail and tie tightly.
1. NOSE: With long skin yarn remaining on head we will embroider the nose counting 3 rows
down from the eyes, centering the embroidery as much as possible. We will take 2 points leaving a
separation of 1 st between them and go through 5 or 6 times.
2. Join both bow pieces with blue yarn from center to create a bow, leave a long tail and pass it
repeatedly through the center.
3. Put on the bow over the ponytail and tie tightly.
