Sachin Dev Burman (1 October 1906 - 31October

October 1975) was an Indian music director, singer

composer and from north east state of Tripura. His
mother Rajkumari Nirmala Devi, princess of Manipur
and father Nabedwip Chandra prince of Tripura. He
completed his Matriculation at the age of 14 Graduated in 1924 and
took admission to M. A. at The University of Calcutta but could not
complete it due to his career in music. He had his musical training
Krishna Chandra De (uncle of Manna De), Bhiwswadev Chatterjee
and Ustad Alauddin Khan.
