The importance of Understanding the gospel of Grace in this

Dispensation

Ephesians 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the
hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
Colossians 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and
to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual
understanding;

Objective of the lesson:


1. Understanding the gospel helps us avoid deception by the corruption of minds toward
Understanding the gospel of Grace.
2 Corinthians 11:3-4 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his
subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that
cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit,
which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear
with him.
The purpose of Satan is to confuse us and corrupt our minds about the gospel.
And to blind the mind of the Unbelievers. ( 2 Corinthians 4:4)
If we don't understand the gospel of Grace we have no confidence in our Salvation and we
cannot preach what we cannot understand.
2. Understanding the gospel give us full confidence to preach it. ( Romans 1:16)
3. Understanding the gospel helps us to stay in the gospel of Grace. ( Romans 1:6-9, 11-12) 4.
Understanding the gospel is the result of Rightly Dividing the word of truth.( 2 Timothy 2:15)
1. Gospel of the kingdom..
2. Gospel of Grace.
I. The gospel of Grace is committed only to Apostle Paul. ( Acts 20:24;1 Corinthians 9:17;
Acts 9:17 ; 1 Timoteo 1;11)
A. Paul exclusively claimed "my gospel." Romans 16:25; Romans 2:16; 2Timothy 2:8
B. Paul received it by direct revelation from Christ. Galatians 1:11-12 But I certify you,
brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither
received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
C. The gospel of Grace through the Apostles is different from the 12 Apostles the
kingdom of Grace. ( Matthew 10:5-7; Galacians 2:8-9)
II. What is the gospel of Grace?
A. It was committed to Apostle Paul in the Dispensation of Grace.( Galacians 1:11-
12)
B. The gospel of Grace is not only who Christ was ,but also what he has done to us.
( 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)*

3. Rose again
4. Appeared
III. The benefits of Understanding of the gospel of Grace in this Dispensation.
A. It clarifies our Salvation by grace alone through faith alone. Ephesians 2:8;
Romans 11:6 titus 3:5 No work is needed.
B. It clarifies our eternal security. Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that
ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye
believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
1. After trusting the gospel of grace.
2 the sealing of the holy Spirit.
3.until the redemption of the body.( Ephesians 4:30; Romans 8:23) the rapture of
the body of Christ.
C. It clarifies our union with the body of Christ.
1. By the gospel.( Ephesians 3:6)
2. Baptism by one Spirit.( 1 Corinthians 12:13) (1 Corinthians 12:27; Romans
12:5 ; 1 Corinthians 6:17, Colossians 1:18)
Conclusion:
1. The gospel of Grace is committed only to Paul.
2. The gospel of Grace is the right Gospel in this Dispensation.
3. There are 3 benefits of Understanding the gospel of Grace. It clarifies our
Salvation by grace alone through faith alone upon the finished work of Christ in the
cross. It clarifies our Eternal security, by sealing of the holy Spirit. It clarifies our union
with the same body of Christ by the gospel.
