Consideration of CGPA/Percentage in case of Dual/Integrated Degree Programmes [For Assistant (Rajbhasha)]:

• जहां दोहरी/ एकीकृत डिग्री प्रमाणपत्र में स्िातक और स्िातकोत्तर के ललए सी.जी.पी.ए./प्रनतशत का अलग से उल्लेख है , तो स्िातक स्तर के ललए
सी.जी.पी.ए./प्रनतशत की गणिा करिे की मौजूदा प्रकक्रया को मािा जाएगा; Where a CGPA/Percentage for Graduation and Post-Graduation
is mentioned separately in the Dual/Integrated Degree Certificate, existing procedure for reckoning CGPA/Percentage for the
Graduation level shall be reckoned;
• जहां दोहरी/एकीकृत डिग्री प्रमाणपत्र में अध्ययि के सम्पण
ू ग पाठ्यक्रम के ललए केिल लागू एक सामान्य सी.जी.पी.ए./प्रनतशत का उल्लेख ककया गया है,
तो अध्ययि के सम्पूणग पाठ्यक्रम के ललए यथा लागू दोहरी/एकीकृत डिग्री प्रमाणपत्र में उल्लेख के अिुसार अंनतम सी.जी.पी.ए./प्रनतशत को पात्रता निधागररत
करते समय मािा जाएगा; Where a common CGPA/Percentage applicable for the entire course of study is only mentioned in the
Dual/Integrated Degree Certificate, the final CGPA/Percentage as mentioned in the Dual/Integrated degree Certificate as
applicable for the entire course of study, shall be reckoned for deciding the eligibility;
• जहां कोई विश्िविद्यालय द्िारा उिके दोहरी/एकीकृत डिग्री प्रमाणपत्र में कोई सी.जी.पी.ए./प्रनतशत निधागररत िहीं करता है, तो सम्पूणग अध्ययि पाठ्यक्रम
के ललए यथा लागू अंनतम/समेककत अंकपत्र के अिस
ु ार संचयी सी.जी.पी.ए./प्रनतशत को पात्रता निधागररत करिे के ललए मािा जाएगा; Where a University
does not prescribe any CGPA/percentage in its Dual/Integrated Degree certificate, the cumulative CGPA/percentage as per
Final/Consolidated Mark Sheet, as applicable for the entire course of Study, shall be reckoned for deciding the eligibility;
• ककसी विश्िविद्यालय/संस्था द्िारा उिके दोहरी/एकीकृत डिग्री प्रमाणपत्र में स्िातक/स्िातकोत्तर के ललए सी.जी.पी.ए./प्रनतशत निकालिे हेतु सूत्र निधागररत
करिे या ि करिे के ािजूद भी उपरोक्त मापदं ि एकसमाि रूप से लागू होगा; The criteria above will apply uniformly regardless of whether
or not a University/Institution prescribes a formula to derive the CGPA/percentage for Graduation/Post Graduation in its
Dual/Integrated Degree certificate;
• जहां विश्िविद्यालय द्िारा उिके डिग्री प्रमाणपत्र या समेककत अंकपत्र में अंकों का सी.जी.पी.ए. और प्रनतशत दोिों का उल्लेख है , तो कम से कम एक
मापदं ि (सी.जी.पी.ए. या प्रनतशत) हमारे विज्ञापि के अिुसार पात्रता मािदं िों को पूरा करिा चार्हए; Where a University mentions both CGPA and
percentage of Marks in its Degree certificate or Consolidated Marksheet, then at least one criteria (either CGPA or percentage)
should meet the eligibility norms as per our advertisement;
• जहां विश्िविद्यालय द्िारा उिके डिग्री प्रमाणपत्र या समेककत अंकपत्र में केिल सी.जी.पी.ए. का उल्लेख है , तो उल्ल्लखखत सी.जी.पी.ए. अनििायग रूप से
विज्ञावपत पात्रता मापदं ि के अिुरूप होिा चार्हए। सम् ल्न्धत विश्िविद्यालय/संस्था द्िारा कोई संपररितगि सत्र
ू निधागररत करिे के ािजूद भी, पात्रता
निधागररत करिे के ललए सी.जी.पी.ए. को प्रनतशत में संपररिनतगत करिे की अिम
ु नत िहीं है। डिग्री प्रमाणपत्र/समेककत अंकपत्र में केिल प्रनतशत अंकों का
उल्लेख होिे पर समाि मापदं ि लागू होंगे। Where a University mentions only CGPA in its Degree Certificate or Consolidated Marksheet,
then the CGPA as mentioned should necessarily meet the advertised eligibility criteria. Conversion of CGPA into percentage of
marks is not permitted to determine eligibility, regardless of whether any conversion formula is prescribed by the
University/Institution concerned. The same criteria apply mutatis mutandis in cases where only percentage of marks is mentioned
in the Degree Certificate/Consolidated Marksheet.

• कृपया ध्याि दें कक निधागररत योग्यता न्यूितम आिश्यकता है और केिल इसके होिे से उम्मीदिार ललखखत परीक्षा/कौशल परीक्षण के ललए पात्र िहीं होगा।
हालांकक, प्राप्त ऑि-लाइि आिेदिों के आधार पर, आगे की प्रकक्रया के ललए उम्मीदिारों को चि

requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for Written test / Skill Test. However, based on the
On-line applications received, initial screening will be conducted for shortlisting the candidates for further processing. PRL may
adopt the method of conducting initial screening by fixing a higher cut-off percentage of marks scored in the essential
qualification. It may be noted that the above mode of selection may change as per Govt. of India/Dept. of Space orders from
time to time.

• इसके अलािा, जो लोग विभागीय आिास एिं पररिहि सुविधा का लाभ िहीं उठा रहे हैं, उन्हें क्रमशः पदस्थापि स्थाि पर निधागररत दरों पर मकाि
ककराया भत्ता [एच.आर.ए.] और पररिहि भत्ते का भग
ु ताि ककया जाएगा। कमगचारी राष्िीय पेंशन प्रणाली (एन.पी.एस.) द्िारा शालसत होंगे। पी.आर.एल.
में भती होिे पर, स्ियं और आधश्रतों के ललए धचककत्सा सुविधाएं, कैंटीि, अिकाश यात्रा ररयायत, समूह ीमा आर्द जैसे अन्य सुविधाएं केंद्र
सरकार/अं.वि./पी.आर.एल. के नियमों अिस ु ार उपलब्ध होंगे। In addition, House Rent Allowance [HRA] and Transport Allowance at the
prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid for those who are not availing Departmental Housing and Transport
facility, respectively. The employees will be governed by the National Pension System (NPS). On employment in PRL, other
facilities are available such as medical facilities for self and dependents, canteen, Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance,
etc. as per Central Government/DOS/PRL Rules.

D. आिेिन शु्क APPLICATION FEE:

• प्रत्येक आिेदि के ललए 250/- रु. (केिल दो सौ पचास रुपये) का गैर-िापसी आिेदि शुल्क होगा। उम्मीदिार इंटरिेट कैं कं ग/िेब ट कािग/क्रेडिट कािग/
यू.पी.आई/िॉलेट से 'ऑिलाइि' भुगताि कर सकते हैं। शुल्क के भग
ु ताि के ललए कोई विस्तार योग्य नतधथ िहीं है। ऑिलाइि आिेदि पत्र जमा करिे
की अंनतम नतधथ शुल्क के भुगताि की अंनतम नतधथ भी होगी। There will be a non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two
Hundred and Fifty only) for each application. Candidates may make the payment ‘online’ using Internet Banking/Debit Card/
Credit Card/UPI/WALLET. There is no extendable date for the payment of fees. The last date of submitting online application
form shall also be the last date for the payment of fees.

 • सभी मदहला उम्मीििार; अनुसूधचत जानत (अ.जा.)/अनुसूधचत जनजानत (अ.ज.जा.), भूतपूि-य सैननक (भ.ू सै.) और बेंचमाकय विकलांग व्यस्क्त (बें.वि.व्य.)
उम्मीििारों को आिेिन शु्क भुगतान से छूट िी गई है। All Women candidates; Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST), Ex-
serviceman (Ex-SM) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
• आिेिक द्िारा एक से अधिक बार ककए गए भुगतान, यदि कोई हों, सख्त रूप से अप्रनतिे य तिा अहस्तांतरणी हैं । आिेिक द्िारा ककए गए ककसी भी
भगु तान को िावपस नहीं ककया जायेगा । All payments made including multiple transactions, if any, made by an applicant are on a
strictly non-refundable and non-transferable basis. Applicant is not allowed to Charge back any payments made, if any.

E. आिेिन कैसे करें ? HOW TO APPLY?

• केिल ऑनलाइन आिेदि ही स्िीकार ककए जाएंगे। उम्मीदिार www.prl.res.in (→अिसर→ररल्क्तयां) पर आिेदि रल्जस्टर करें । ऑनलाइन आिेिन प्राप्त
करने की अंनतम नतधि 30/06/2023 (1700 बजे) है। Applications will be received ON-LINE ONLY. The Candidates should register their
application on-line at www.prl.res.in (→Opportunities→Job vacancies). The last date for receipt of online application is
30/06/2023 (1700 Hrs.).
• पंजीकरण करिे पर, आिेदक को ऑन-लाइन पंजीकरण नंबर प्रिान ककया जाएगा, स्जसे भािी संिभय के ललए संभाल कर रिा जाना चादहए। Upon
registration, applicant will be provided with an on-line Registration Number which should be carefully preserved for future
reference.
• आिेदक को िैध ई-मेल आईिी और मो ाइल िं र आिेदि में अनििायगत: देिा होगा। अभ्यथी ल्जिका ललखखत/कौशल परीक्षा के ललए चयि ककया जाएगा
उिको हॉल र्टकट/कॉल लेटर मात्र ई-मेल द्िारा ही भेजा जाएगा तथा कोई भी हािग कॉपी िहीं भेजी जायेगी। A valid Email id & Mobile number of
the applicant will have to be given in the application compulsorily. Hall tickets/ Call letters for written test/skill test for those who
will be screened-in/Shortlisted, will be sent through email only and no hard copy will be sent.

‘No Objection Certificate (NOC)’ from the employer concerned, by those already in employment under Central/State
Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies or any Organization which is aided by Government, duly
indicating the name and registration number on the reverse.

➢ अनुसूधचत जानत/अनुसूधचत जनजानत उम्मीििार: उपयुक्त प्राधधकरण द्िारा जारी केन्द्रीय सरकार िौकररयों के ललए निधागररत प्रोिामाग में जानत
प्रमाण पत्र की स्ियं सत्यावपत प्रनत। SC/ST Candidates: Self attested copy of Caste certificate in the prescribed proforma for
Central Govt. Jobs issued by appropriate Authority.

post by Women candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST), Ex-serviceman (Ex-SM) and Persons with Benchmark
Disabilities (PwBD) candidates, the last application submitted before the last date for submission of application shall be
considered for further processing.

F. अनेक पिों के ललए आिेिन APPLICATIONS FOR MULTIPLE POSTS:

• उम्मीदिार पात्रता शतों के अधीि सभी पदों के ललए, अथागत सहायक (राजभािा), कनिष्ठ अिुिाद अधधकारी और पुस्तकालय सहायक-ए के ललए आिेदि
कर सकते हैं। उम्मीदिारों को सहायक (राजभािा), कनिष्ठ अिुिाद अधधकारी और पुस्तकालय सहायक-ए के पद के ललए अलग-अलग आिेदि जमा करिे
होंगे और आिेदि शुल्क में छूट के ललए पात्र िहीं होिे पर प्रत्येक पद के ललए अलग से आिेदि शुल्क का भग
ु ताि करिा होगा। सभी पिों के ललए
ललखित/कौशल परीक्षा अलग-अलग आयोस्जत की जाएगी। Candidates may apply for all the posts, i.e. for Assistant (Rajbhasha), Junior
Translation Officer and Library Assistant-A, subject to eligibility conditions. Candidates have to submit separate applications for
the post of Assistant (Rajbhasha), Junior Translation Officer and Library Assistant-A and pay Application Fee separately for each
post, if they are not eligible for Application Fee exemption. The Written/Skill test for all the posts will be conducted separately.

G. चयन प्रकक्रया SELECTION PROCESS:

• निधागररत योग्यता न्यूितम आिश्यकता है और केिल इसके होिे से उम्मीदिार चयि के अगले मूल्यांकि जैसे की ललखखत परीक्षा/कौशल परीक्षा के ललए
पात्र िहीं होंगे। The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make
candidates eligible for further evaluation for selection viz. Written Test/Skill Test.

• ऑि-लाइि आिेदि के आधार पर प्रारं लभक स्क्रीनिंग होगी। कुल आिेदिों की संख्या या पी.आर.एल. द्िारा निधागररत अन्य मािदं िों पर विचार करिे के
ाद स्क्रीनिंग के मािदं ि तय ककए जाएंगे। There will be an initial screening based on the on-line application. The criteria for screening
will be decided vis-a-vis number of total applications or any other criteria as decided by PRL.

• स्क्रीि-इि उम्मीदिारों के ललए ललखखत परीक्षा केिल अहमदा ाद में ही आयोल्जत की जाएगी। तथावप, पी.आर.एल.के पास ललखखत परीक्षा हेतु शहर तय
करिे का अधधकार सुरक्षक्षत है । ललखखत परीक्षा के अंकों के आधार पर केिल आिश्यकतािुसार ही उम्मीदिारों को कौशल परीक्षण के ललए ुलाया जाएगा।
A Written Test will be conducted for the Screened-In candidates at Ahmedabad only. However, PRL reserves the right to finalize
the city for written examination. Based on the written test scores, required number of candidates alone shall be called for skill
test.

H. यात्रा भत्ता TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE:

• कौशल परीक्षण के ललए योग्य ाहरी उम्मीदिार को, यात्रा के प्रमाण के रूप में रे लिे या स र्टकट प्रस्तत
ु करिे पर, िे एल्प्लकेशि में र्दए गए पते से
कौशल परीक्षण के स्थाि तक स से छोटे मागग द्िारा स्लीपर श्रेणी का ट्रे ि ककराया या साधारण स ककराए का भुगताि ककया जाएगा। यर्द उम्मीदिार
निधागररत श्रेणी से उच्चतर श्रेणी में यात्रा करते हैं, तो आरक्षण शल्
ु क को छोडकर केिल स्लीपर श्रेणी ट्रे ि ककराया/सामान्य स ककराए का भग
ु ताि ककया
जाएगा। यात्रा भत्ता भुगताि करिे या िहीं करिे का निणगय पी.आर.एल. का होगा। Outstation candidates qualified for skill test, will be paid to
and fro Sleeper Class train fare or ordinary bus fare by the shortest route from the address given in the web application to the
place of skill test, on production of proof of journey such as the Railway Ticket(s) or Bus Ticket(s), etc. If the candidate travels in
a higher class, then only Sleeper Class train fare excluding reservation charges / Ordinary Bus fare will be paid. Decision to pay
TA or otherwise is reserved with PRL.

ं ु सी.जी.पी.ए. के अलािा अन्य रूप में हैं, तो उन्हें प्रनतशत
में पररिनतगत करें और रूपांतरण के िामल
ूग े को संस्था/ विश्िविद्यालय/ ोिग के प्रधाि द्िारा प्रमाखणत ककया जािा चार्हए या अंक-शीट में उल्ल्लखखत ककया
जािा चार्हए। Rounding – off of marks is NOT allowed. In case the marks obtained are in the form other than percentage or 10-
point CGPA, please convert them into percentage and the formula of conversion should be certified by the Head of the
Institution / University / Board or should be mentioned in the mark-sheet.

and the instructions contained in this advertisement and in the online application form are adhered to / complied with.
Candidates are, therefore, urged to carefully read the advertisement and complete the online application form and submit
the same as per instructions given in this regard.
• आिेदि में उम्मीदिार द्िारा घोवित जानत/िगग यािी ओ. ी.सी./अिुसूधचत जानत/अिुसूधचत जिजानत/ई.िब्ल्यू.एस. को अंनतम मािा जाएगा और उसमें
कोई दलाि िहीं ककया जाएगा। Caste/Category declared by the candidate in the application such as OBC/SC/ST/EWS will be
considered as final and no change in the same will be entertained.
• चयनित उम्मीदिार को भौनतक अिुसधं ाि प्रयोगशाला के ककसी भी कायागलय या उदयपुर/माउं ट आ ू की िेधशालाओं में कायग करिे के ललए नियुक्त ककया
जाएगा और पी.आर.एल. के र्हत में भारत में कहीं भी कायग करिे के ललए स्थािांतररत ककया जा सकता है। Selected candidate will be posted
to work at any office of Physical Research Laboratory or its observatories at Udaipur / Mt. Abu and is liable to be transferred to
work anywhere in India, in the interest of PRL.
• कौशल परीक्षा के ललए ल ु ाए गए उम्मीदिारों को ऑि-लाइि प्रस्तत
ु ककए गए आिेदि में र्दए गए सभी वििरणों के प्रमाण में सभी प्रासंधगक मल ू
दस्तािेज प्रस्तुत करिे होंगे। ऑि-लाइि दी गई कोई भी जािकारी गलत प्रमाखणत होिे पर या उधचत दस्तािेजी प्रमाण ि होिे पर उम्मीदिार कौशल
परीक्षा के ललए पात्र िहीं होंगे और यात्रा भत्ता का भग
ु ताि िहीं ककया जाएगा। Candidates called for skill test will have to produce all relevant
original documents in proof of details furnished in their applications submitted on-line. If any information furnished on-line is found
to be wrong, false or not substantiated with appropriate documentary evidence, the candidate will not be eligible for skill test
and No TA will be paid.

आिेदि प्रकक्रया का पालि करें । The candidates registered under National Career Services (NCS) portal and fulfilling the eligibility
conditions may visit PRL website and follow the application procedure as stated.
• केिल भारतीय िागररक ही आिेदि करें । Only Indian nationals need apply.
• पद को िहीं भरिे का अधधकार पी.आर.एल. के पास सुरक्षक्षत है। PRL reserves the right not to fill up the post, if it so decides.
• परीक्षा/नियल्ु क्त के ललए स्क्रीनिंग िहीं ककए गए उम्मीदिारों के साथ कोई अंतररम पत्राचार िहीं ककया जाएगा।
No interim correspondence will be entertained with the candidates who are not screened in for test/appointment.
• उम्मीदिार र्हंदी में भी ललखखत परीक्षा दे सकते हैं। Candidates may appear for the written test in Hindi in case they prefer so.

➢ भारत सरकार के उपक्रमों सर्हत केंद्र या राज्य सरकार के कायागलय में र्हंदी से अंग्रेजी और इसके विपरीत अिुिाद कायग का दो साल का अिुभि का
अिभ ु ि सह अिापवत्त प्रमाण-पत्र (100 kb माप, पी.िी.एि. िॉमेट में)। Experience cum No Objection Certificate of two years’ experience
of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government office, including Government of India
undertakings (100 kb size, in pdf. format).
➢ यर्द लागू हो, तो, जानत प्रमाण-पत्र (100 kb माप, पी.िी.एि. िॉमेट में)। Scanned copy of Caste Certificate, if applicable (100 kb size, in
pdf. format).
➢ विकलांग उम्मीदिारों के मामले में पी.िब्ल्यू. ी.िी. प्रमाण-पत्र (100 kb माप, पी.िी.एि. िॉमेट में )। PwBD Certificate in case of Persons with
Disability candidates (100 kb size, in pdf. format).
➢ भतू पिू -ग सैनिकों के मामले में सेिा निित्त
ृ प्रमाण-पत्र (100 kb माप, पी.िी.एि.)। Discharge Certificate in case of Ex-servicemen (100 kb size,
pdf.).
➢ ितगमाि पासपोटग आकार की रं गीि तस्िीर की स्कैि प्रनत (100 kb माप, जेपीईजी इमेज, 3 महीिे से अधधक परु ािी िहीं होिी चार्हए) और हस्ताक्षर
(100 kb माप, जेपीईजी इमेज)। उम्मीदिार यह सनु िल्श्चत करें कक िही तस्िीर इस पूरी भती प्रकक्रया के दौराि उपयोग हो। Scanned copy of the
recent passport size color Photograph (100 kb size, jpeg image, not older than 3 months) and Signature (100 kb size, jpeg
image). Candidates should ensure that the same photograph is used throughout this recruitment process.

✓ सेल्िी की अिुमनत िहीं है । No selfies allowed.
✓ पूरा चहेरा स्पष्ट र्दखाई देता हो। Frontal view of the full face is visible.
✓ ैकग्राउं ि सादा/सफ़ेद होिा चार्हए। Background should be plain/white.
✓ धुंधली तस्िीर या हाल ही के रं गीि पासपोटग साइज़ िोटोग्राि के अलािा ककसी अन्य तस्िीर अपलोि ककया गया आिेदि ख़ाररज कर
र्दया जाएगा। Application with blurred photograph or any image uploaded other than the recent color passport size
photograph, such applications shall be summarily rejected.
✓ श्िेत-श्याम तस्िीर की अिम
ु नत िहीं है । Black and white photographs not allowed.
✓ हस्ताक्षर का अिुपात 7:2 (यर्द चौडाई 70 वपक्सेल है तो ऊंचाई 20 वपक्सेल) होिी चार्हए। Signature should have an aspect ratio
of 7:2 (if width is 70 pixel then height should be 20 pixel).
✓ िोटोग्राि की ऊंचाई और चौडाई एक ही (यर्द चौडाई 100 वपक्सेल है तो ऊंचाई 100 वपक्सेल) होिी चार्हए। Height and Width of the
Photograph should be same (if width is 100 pixel then height also should be 100 pixel).

• उम्मीििारों से ऑनलाइन आिेिन भरते समय साििानी बरतने का अनुरोि ककया जाता है और िे केिल िैि/िास्तविक जानकारी ही प्रिान करें स्जन्हें
िैि और उपयक्
ु त/ननिायररत िस्तािेजी प्रमाण द्िारा सत्यावपत ककया जा सके। ऑनलाइन आिेिन प्रारूप भरते समय दिए गए गलत इनपट

प्रविस्ष्टयां िे ने पर, चयन प्रकक्रया के िौरान/चयन के बाि उम्मीििार की उम्मीििारी रद्ि कर िी जाएगी।
Candidates are requested to be careful while filling online applications and are expected to give only valid / genuine inputs
which can be authenticated through valid & appropriate / prescribed documentary evidence. Giving false inputs / advertent
wrong entries while filling up online application format, will lead to cancellation of candidature of the candidate during
recruitment process / after selection.
