Revenue Minister R. Ashok on Thursday said the government will develop


“the second Cubbon Park” on 184 acres of land near Yelahanka.

A Cubbon Park-like green environment will come up on land spread across


the villages of Bettahalasur, Sondappanahalli, and Kadiganahalli near
Yelahanka. It will have an amphitheatre, a lake, and other facilities.

“The land has been handed over to the Horticulture Department. The park
will be named after Bengaluru founder Kempe Gowda,” Mr. Ashoka told
presspersons here.
