Self-esteem is a person's overall sense of worth or value.

It is how we feel about

ourselves, our abilities, and our place in the world. High self-esteem is associated with a
number of positive outcomes, such as better mental and physical health, greater
resilience, and more success in life. Low self-esteem, on the other hand, can lead to a
number of problems, such as anxiety, depression, and poor decision-making.

The RDNEB or values of the month self-esteem is important because it can help us to
develop a healthy sense of self-worth. When we focus on our strengths and
accomplishments, we start to see ourselves in a more positive light. This can lead to
increased confidence, motivation, and resilience.

There are many things that we can do to boost our self-esteem. Here are a few tips:

 Focus on your strengths. What are you good at? What do you enjoy doing? Make
a list of your strengths and accomplishments, and read it over whenever you're
feeling down.
 Set realistic goals. When we achieve our goals, it gives us a sense of
accomplishment and boosts our self-esteem. Make sure your goals are realistic
and achievable, so that you don't get discouraged.
 Take care of yourself. Make sure you're getting enough sleep, eating healthy
foods, and exercising regularly. When we take care of our physical and mental
health, it shows that we value ourselves.
 Spend time with positive people. The people we spend time with can have a big
impact on our self-esteem. Surround yourself with positive people who make you
feel good about yourself.
 Challenge negative thoughts. When we have negative thoughts about ourselves,
it's important to challenge them. Ask yourself if they're really true, and if not, what
you can do to change them.

Building self-esteem takes time and effort, but it's worth it. When we have a healthy
sense of self-worth, we're better able to cope with challenges, achieve our goals, and
live a happy and fulfilling life.
