ABSTRACT
Sari, Riana A. 2020. Subject Verb Agreement Errors in Writing Descriptive Text
Made by the Eleventh Grade Students of SMKN 2 Kediri. Thesis,
Department of English Language Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, State
Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Kediri. Advisors: (I) Dr. Mukhammad
Abdullah, M.Ag., (II) Muhammad Afifi, S.Hum., M.Pd.
The finding showed that the participants contributed the three types of
subject verb agreement errors in their descriptive writing, those were omission
(38%), addition (8%) and misformation (54%), then misordering error was not
found in this research. The most frequent type of subject verb agreement error
contributed by the eleventh grade students of SMKN 2 Kediri on their descriptive
writing was misformation with the occurrence 27 errors and the percentage is
54%.
