She is best known for writing the Harry Potter fantasy series about the boy wizard Harry Potter, which sold over 600 million copies worldwide and was translated into 84 languages. In addition to Harry Potter, Rowling also writes the Cormoran Strike crime fiction series under the pen name Robert Galbraith and has published one other novel for adults titled The Casual Vacancy.
