REFLECTION

Through this assignment I have learned how to create a video presentation by using
AI generator that integrated ChatGPT for the script, Eleven Labs for the voice and D-ID for
the video. This is a very special and interesting task for me as I’m not only learned the
traditional way which is search material from google and do normal video presentation, but I
also keep up with the times through using AI generator. Although AI is convenient, but the
outcome might not be a 100% perfect work that we want. Thus, I will further share my point
of view on both approaches’ advantages, disadvantages and limitations.

For AI approach, the advantages are fast and high rate of accuracy in answer. Firstly,
it is very fast that it only takes less than a minute to answer my question or generate the video
and voice that I want. Secondly, it has a high accuracy in data which means that it will
provide us the answer that really regarding to the question that I gave. Moreover, the
disadvantages are the answer might not the thing we want and lack of emotion in AI voice
and video. The meaning of the first disadvantage that I mentioned just now is that it gave the
answer in too general or lack of some important component that I want. For example, I wish
to know more about the data mining techniques in fraud detection, but it gave me the answer
in a more general way (e.g.: the objective of using it or the benefit of using it). The next
disadvantage discusses that there is no pace, tone, facial emoji that others than smile in the AI
voice and video. Although there many choices of voice or AL face for us to choose, but there
are still a machine without emotion. For example, when the speech come to a climate, the AI
cannot express the emotion correctly.

For traditional approach, the first advantage is through my own voice, I able to
convey the information to the audience with my tone and facial emotion. For example, when
come to a main point I will speak louder and with a more serious emotion to let the audience
know this is the important part. The next advantage will be up to date information provided
by google engine. In contrast, ChatGPT not able to do so since it only has data before 2021
year. Furthermore, the disadvantage of using traditional approach is time consuming. I need
to go through many websites or news only can get the material that I want. Not only in
searching material, when doing the video presentation, I also feel challenged because we are
human being, I will forget the thing I wish to deliver. In result, I spent a lot of time in
searching material and doing presentation.
 The limitation for AI is creativity and originality. AI is proficient at analyzing existing
data and generating output based on patterns and algorithms. However, it may struggle to
produce truly creative and original ideas. Presentations often require unique and innovative
approaches to captivate the audience, which may be challenging for AI to replicate
authentically. The following limitation is AI has limited data training since AI models heavily
rely on the data they are trained on. If the training data does not adequately cover the specific
domain or presentation requirements, the AI system may not provide optimal results.

The limitation for traditional approach is information overload. There immense

amount of information about fraud detection by using data mining techniques, it will be
challenged to go through all and determine the most relevant and reliable sources. The next
limitation is copyright and plagiarism concern. Simply copying and pasting information from
search results without proper attribution can lead to plagiarism concerns.

In conclusion, the AI-powered video presentation allowed me to explore a new and

exciting approach. I appreciate the convenience and accuracy it offers, despite limitations
such as lack of creativity and emotional expression. I also acknowledge the advantages of the
traditional method, including personal voice delivery and up-to-date information. However, it
can be time-consuming and overwhelming. Thank you to my lecturer for assigning this task,
as it broadened my understanding of both approaches' strengths and limitations.
