REPORTED SPEECH
El Reported Speech es la forma en la que puedes
contar, explicar, escribir o decir algo que alguien más
dijo, cambiando el tiempo verbal al pasado. Para las
preguntas nos ayudamos de IF para contextualizar.
ACTIVE VOICE
‘Cristian loves his daughter’
REPORTED SPEECH
‘Cristian said that he loved his daughter’
‘Cristian said he loved his daughter’
PRESENT - PAST
Algo que tenemos que tener en cuenta, es que los
tiempos verbales siempre cambian, se va hacia el
pasado para expresar el momento en que la
información fue transmitida.
PRESENT SIMPLE
‘He runs every day’
PAST SIMPLE
‘He said (that) he ran every day’
TRANSFORMATION

Andrei is from Bogotá He said that Andrei was

STRUCTURE
Además de utilizar THAT (de manera opcional) y el IF
para las preguntas, tenemos que tener en cuenta el
cambio de los adverbios de tiempo o de las palabras
que nos aporten un significado específico, al estar
reportando información estas cambian.
STRUCTURE
Entonces cuando utilizamos Reported Speech, además
de tener en cuenta que el presente cambia a pasado,
tenemos siempre que tener en cuenta el contexto.
