In my mom's interview, she mentions having a more socially active life, whereas I personally
have a less social life with only a few close friends. She talks about participating in sports like
Volleyball and softball, while I have a preference for sports like golf and archery. While she
enjoyed games like Pac-Man, I lean towards more challenging games like Dark Souls and Elden
Ring. Her favorite TV shows included "The Loveboat," but I prefer shows like "Breaking Bad,"
"Cyberpunk Edgeruners," and "The Mandalorian." She mentions attending parties, whereas I
prefer spending my time playing online games with friends, such as Escape from Tarkov or
Starship Troopers: Extermination. Additionally, I did not attend grade 13, partly because I am not
old enough yet, and also because it does not exist in Manitoba where I reside; it was only in
Ontario. In terms of jobs, she worked as a camp counselor and gas pumper, while I currently
work as a lab technician for Trek Geotechnical under her supervision. These differences
highlight the vast variations between her teenage life and mine, largely due to the difference in
time periods.
