1. Overview (概述)

This document describes the guide document for ESS layout.

本文档对储能系统布局原则进行说明。

This document is intended to be used by the specific addressees. No part of this document may
be reproduced or distributed in any form or by any means without the prior written permission of
Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd.

2. ESS layout principles（储能系统布局原则说明）

2.1 Main Reference Principles（主要参考原则）

（The unit of remarks in the figure is mm. 图形中备注单位均为 mm）

(1) The overall layout should be neat and beautiful. The layout diagram is for reference only.
Before the implementation of the project, professional design units should conduct detailed design
according to the on-site investigation.

(1) 整体布局应整齐、美观，布局图仅供参考，项目实施前应由专业的设计单位根据现场勘查情况
进行详细设计。

(2) In conventional plane layout, corresponding fire fighting and transportation channels and lifting
space should be set up. The width of the fire Engine Access should be 4m, the width of the
Transportation Corridor should not be less than 3m, and the radius of the inner turn of the road should
not be less than 7m. See Fig 1:

(2) 常规平面布局时，应设置相应的消防及运输通道和起吊空间。消防通道路面宽度宜为 4m，运输

通道路面宽度不宜小于 3m，道路的内转弯半径不应小于 7m。见图 1：

(3) If protective walls or fences (hollow air ventilation) are installed around the ESS, the space
between them should not be less than 1m, which is mainly used for related accessories installation

and maintenance. See Fig 2:

(3) 箱式储能系统外围设置有防护墙体或者围栏（镂空透风）时，外围间距应不小于 1m，主要用

于相关配件的安装和维护。见图 2：

(4) If a protective wall or fence is installed around the ESS and the protective device is a physical
wall and the container is a side door (not a walk-in container), to ensure the maintenance of the battery
PACK and other sub-devices, the space between the side doors must be no less than 3m. The space
between air conditioner sides must be at least 2m. See Fig 3:

(4) 储能系统外围设置有防护墙体或者围栏时，若防护设施为实体围墙且集装箱为侧开门（非步入
式集装箱）
，为保证电池 PACK 及其他子设备的维护，开门侧的间距要求不低于 3m；空调侧的间距要求
不低于 2m。见图 3：

(5) If a protective wall or fence is installed around the ESS and the protective device is a physical
wall and the container is open at the end (walk-in container), to ensure the maintenance of the battery
PACK and other sub-devices, the space between the door sides must be no less than 3m. The space
between side walls must be at least 2m. See Fig 4:

(5) 储能系统外围设置有防护墙体或者围栏时，若防护设施为实体围墙且集装箱为端部开门（步入
式集装箱）
，为保证电池 PACK 以及其他子设备的维护，开门侧的间距要求不低于 3m；侧墙位置的间距
要求不低于 2m。见图 4：

(6) The height of the air inlet of the external circulation of the BESS is not less than 300mm from
the ground, and there is no shelter within this height range. There is no shelter on both sides of the
inlet and outlet of the external circulation and in the range of 1.5m at the front end, to ensure the
unobstructed inlet and outlet air, or to avoid the short circuit of the inlet and outlet, as shown in the
shadow part in the figure. See Fig 5:

(6) 电池储能系统空调外循环进风口距离地面的高度≮300mm，且此高度范围内无遮挡物；外循环
进出风口两侧以及前端 1.5m 范围无遮挡物，以保证进出风的通畅，或者避免进出风口短路，如图中阴
影部分所示。见图 5：

(7) The access position of the system, the direction and length of cables between the systems
should be fully considered on site to improve the rationality and economy of the layout design.

(7) 现场应充分考虑系统接入位置和系统间电缆走向、长度等，提高布局设计的合理性和经济性。

2.2 Onsite Layout requirements for Air Cooling ESS (风冷方案现场布局要求)
