Joe
Hi, I am Joe but my nickname is “Fast&Furious”. I’m
12 years old. My birthday is on 15th July. I usually
celebrate it on the beach. I was born in Sao Paolo on
15th July 2010.
I’m a student. I attend a lower Secondary school. I
study at Roosevelt School. I go there by bus. It takes
me about 15 minutes. My favourite subject is
Science. I would like to become a
famous medical researcher so I’m
going to attend a scientific school.
I’m from Sao Paolo, Brazil but I live
in Los Angeles, California (in the
south-west of the USA). My town
is amazing. There are a lot of shops, cinemas,
museums, the Universal Studios and stars from
Hollywood. There is a beautiful seafront, full of
street artists, stalls, people walking and doing sport,
wonderful sunsets. I like it very much.
There are 7 of us in my family: my parents, my
grandfather, my twin brothers, my sister and me. My
parents are Luisa and Johan. They are doctors. My
grandpa is retired, he was a teacher. My brothers
are Carlos and Mattias and my sister is Giovanna.
She is married and she is expecting a baby. My
brothers are fresh out of college. My sister works in
a research lab but she is going on maternity leave
soon. She lives about 30 minutes away from us. We
try to get together every Sunday for a family lunch.
We are a very tight—knit/close-knit family. We love
spending time together and going on trips. They are
always a blast (spasso)! I look like my dad for his
curly hair and my mum for her personality. I’m very
different from my brothers. They are very talkative,
extrovert, optimist and lazy while I’m very shy, calm,
home-loving and hard working. We live in a big
house and we have a dog. I’m very fond of him. I
have got a best friend, Jeremy. We share the same
interest in science and sport. He is very friendly and
loyal. We get on well.
In my spare time, I like going to the cinema. I love
action movies. My favorite movie is “Transformers”,
I love the first and the second movie, but I don’t like
the third one.
I like music too. I love electronic music. My favourite
artist is Linkin Park. But I hate dancing.
I live in the town centre/in the suburbs/in the
outskirts/in the countryside. We live in a flat on the
seventh floor/in a detached house. My favorite place
in the house is my bedroom because I have got my
PC and a games console, but I don’t like cleaning it. It
is always dirty and untidy. I like surfing on social

Hello! I’m Ana. I’m 30 years old. My
birthday is on 22 April. I’m a fashion
designer. I have my own Fashion
Studio. I’m a creative person. I’d like
to work for famous stars.
I’m from Spain. I live in Asturias with my husband and
two sons. We live in the suburbs. My husband is Mario
and my two sons are Rodrigo and Yanella. We live in a
detached house with a beautiful garden. I love flowers
and plants. In my spare time, I love going shopping. I
like shoes and dresses. My favorite book is “Pride and
Prejudice” by Jane Austen, an English writer. I like the
plot and its characters. My favorite movie is “The Devil
wears Prada” because I love shopping and because I
find this film funny and interesting. I love romantic
music. My favorite group is La Oreja de Vangogh. I’m
very sensitive, I feel anxious when my children are away
from home. I feel excited when I organize a journey.
I like cleaning my house but I hate cooking. So, we often
go to restaurants for dinner. My favourite food is
Roasted Chicken.
I don’t like playing sports but I’d like to try oriental/belly
dance. It’s fascinating.
I love travelling. I want to travel to Venice, Italy; it’s very
romantic. My last holiday was to Germany. We went
backpacking. It was an adventurous holiday.
I like English because it is very important for my career
and for journeys. If I can’t speak more languages,
English helps me to communicate with people from
different countries.
My family, my job and my hobbies are very important
to me.

Internet for schoolwork too.
I like football; my favourite football player is
Ronaldiño Gaucho. He is awesome! I started playing
football in a team two years ago. I spend four hours
a week on my sport because I trainee for two hours
on Tuesday and Thursday.
I like reading but I don’t read very much. So, I don’t
have a favorite book.
I like travelling a lot. I’d like to travel to Miami, I love
going to the beach!
My favourite food is hamburgers, it’s delicious.
I love English because I like the pronunciation of
words … the sound is really good. Moreover, it is
important when you travel abroad. I speak Spanish
too. I like watching TV too. My favourite
programmes are reality shows and cartoons. Both
are interesting and funny.
I like daily routine: I get up at 7.00 and have
breakfast. Then, I go to school. I come back home at
4 p.m. After that I do my homework. Later I hang out
with my friends. Finally, I have dinner with my
parents and we often watch a film after dinner.
