School of Economics and Political science to continue his studies in Economic
Sciences at the Universities of London; with which he acquired important
knowledge about accounting trends in Europe and the United States.
His work as a teacher spanned three decades and he was present in the best
institutions for teaching business and commercial disciplines. In 1930 Alfredo
Chavero entered the teaching staff of the Banking School of the Bank of Mexico, at
the invitation of Manuel Gómez Morin and Alberto Mascarenes Navarro, to teach
the class of Higher Mercantile Calculations and Financial Operations.
As a public official, he was General Director of National Assets, executive member
of the Public Debt Adjustment Commission, member of the National Budget
Commission; member secretary of the National Banking Commission and technical
deputy director of the Mexican Institute of Social Security, among other positions
related to economic planning and social security. He was a member of the Mexican
