Market Research and Competitive Analysis

The current pandemic reduced consumer confidence, which led to declining sales in the clothing
retail industry as a37%
whole.  The impact of the economic slowdown is felt differently by various
sub-sectors of the fashion industry, with some being more greatly affected than others, such as
the men’sMiddle-Income
High-Income wear industry,Lower-Income
in which the demand is more elastic than in the women’s wear industry.

In general, the apparel market is positive due to the immensity and strength of the industry.
However, manufacturers who want to enter the market will have to be extra-prudent and
prepared to make greater investments in promotions and resources to do observation visits,
conduct preliminary market tests, and increase their visibility by taking part in trade shows and
other activities.  Industry specialists strongly advise using specialized brokers to increase one’s
chances of success.

Competition in this industry currently turns on prices.  Due to the pandemic, some retail clothing
businesses are forced to shut down while others are forced to lower their prices. In a broad view,
the retail clothing industry competes with all other sectors in the retail industry.  These different
sectors include electronic retailers, wholesalers, other discount stores, shoe stores, convenience
stores, and others.  Many of these different sectors have combined together, and often, a
company may operate in various divisions to increase profitability.
The top retailers in the Apparel Stores category included:

 The Gap:  $11,635,398

 The Limited:  $9,723,334
 TJX:  $8,795,347
 Intimate Brands:  $4,510,836
 Spiegel/Eddie Bauer:  $3,210,225

Many experts point to changes in consumer attitudes as a driving force behind the restructuring
that is occurring in the retail apparel industry.  Not only have consumers become more cautious
in their buying habits, but they have been reducing the portion of disposable income that they
spend on apparel.  In addition, consumers are increasingly demanding quality goods at low
prices, which forces retailers to permanently sell merchandise at “sale” prices, with promotions
occurring throughout the year.  Economists and sociologists have attributed increasingly volatile
consumer demand to growing numbers of new products, the rise of fashion-consciousness for
even the lowest-cost apparel, and more selling seasons.

The apparel retailing industry consists of businesses that sell clothing, accessories, and other
goods to men, women, and children of all ages in a variety of areas. Apparel retailing stores often
purchase clothing and accessories from manufacturers and wholesalers, then sell them to the
general public without modifying the original garments or any other items made by the firm from
which they are purchasing. Businesses in the clothing retailing industry sell women's, men's,
children's, and infant's apparel in the categories of formal dress, active wear, basics, casual wear,
and outer wear to women, men, children, and infants. Clothing and accessory products are often
purchased from manufacturers and distributors by apparel retailing stores, who then sell them to
the general public without modifying the original clothing. The key drivers of demand in this
market are fashion trends and consumer income. Many components of the retail sector are
involved in the garment retailing market, including customer service, inventory, conducting
monetary transactions, advertising, and different administrative activities. Aside from selling
clothes, fashion retailers may also provide extra services to customers, such as simple clothing
changes. The garment retailing industry may specialize on a certain area of clothing, such as
children's wear, or it may sell products throughout all categories. Profitability in the garment
retailing industry is determined by a variety of factors and varies according to the size of the
business. Larger garment merchants can offer a wider range of products and have benefits in
marketing, purchasing power, and product distribution. Small companies like us focus on
providing excellent customer service to a specific locale, and offering specialized goods. Independent
stores place high priorities on creating and executing superior advertising strategies in order to
general sales and thus revenue.

Wear Me Fashion Boutique estimates more or less 100 products to be purchased from
our targeted buyers. The retail clothing business can be affected by external changes in
economics it can have both positive and negative effects on the clothing business.
People have more disposable income during economic booms. As a result, according to
Pestle Analysis, they may buy more clothing, increasing sales for clothing
manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers. Recessions like us Wear Me Fashion
Boutique, on the other hand, have the opposite effect. These various clothing entities'
sales may be significantly lower. As a result, we retailers may find ourselves with a large
amount of inventory. Furthermore, we may be forced to sell the clothing at significantly
reduced prices. To compete with more generic brands, clothing manufacturers and
retailers like us may need to sell lower-priced clothing brands. When consumers have
less disposable income, they frequently shop for lower-priced brands.

Wear Me Fashion Boutique and X fashion (competitor) if we estimate the volume and
sales for the month Wear Me Fashion Boutique sold 100 units of a product at an
estimated price of ₱50 per piece of clothing the sales value would be 100 and our sales
would be ₱5,000. Meanwhile, if X Fashion (competitor) had sold 50 units of products in
a month at an estimated price of ₱79 pesos their sales value would be 50 and their
sales would be ₱3,950. Therefore, our business managed to gain more income since
our products were sold at a lower price.

Wear Me Fashion Boutique will sell a mix of well-known name brands and clothing lines
from select fashion designers. We will closely monitor generational fashion trends as
well as the purchasing habits of our own customers. Furthermore, we will concentrate
on the styles, colors, and fits that will flatter our customers' body figures. We will profit
from the sale of our merchandise. Our pricing structure will remain flexible, as we will
use suggested retail pricing on popular brands as well as the standard keystoning
process. Furthermore, we will use a value-based pricing structure that measures the
value of our products to our customers, such as ease of access, quality, customer
service, and styles that flatter our target consumer. One key feature that separates
Wear Me Fashion Boutique from other clothing retailers in Btac. Viejo is our
commitment to providing all customers with a variety of clothing options. Since our
primary concern is to ensure our customers feel happy and confident with their
purchases. We will provide clothing to all sizes from petite to plus size. Our goal is to
provide a superior customer service system. Through our friendly reception and inviting
atmosphere. As said what makes us different from other retailers is because of our
affordable clothing that offers all sizes which will make you feel confident and also our
superior customer service.

Sales and Marketing Plan

Wear me fashion boutique is a retailed store so we will use the Price Skimming and Loss Leader
Pricing, these are the sales strategy that the team wanted to apply. For the reasons that, Price
Skimming, we will launch our product with the best price we can offer yet lately, we will make it
cheaper to attract customers and at that moment the Loss Leader Pricing will enter the price
strategy that we will use. We will attract customers by giving one major discount while pursuing
them to purchase more so that the end result will gain more profit. The marketing channel that
Wear Me Fashion Boutique will use is network marketing and direct selling. Network marketing
is the first marketing channel that we will use because it is the best way that we can market our
product. We will be posting our product to our social media accounts to sell and inform our
friends about our products as well as to convince them. Next is direct selling, it is also our best
option to market our products because this type of market channel is not that expensive. We can
market to the people we know and they can also convince their friends or family to buy our
products. For our market material, we will only use our cellphones to take pictures and post them
on social media. We will also create some posters to post on our Facebook page. The
approximate budget is 100 pesos for the internet for us to be able to post the products, this is also
good for more than a week. The distribution method that we will use is a direct distribution
where we will directly sell and send our to the customers our products.

Ownership Structure and Management Plan

promotional technique to bring new customers through our doors/ shop. we have already enjoyed
great success in using this strategy, and we intend to fully exploit this strategy in the future.
