PRESENT PERFECT VS PRESENT

PERFECT CONTINUOUS
Carlos Ramos
STRUCTURE
Present Perfect:
☺ + HAVE/HAS + action verb (past participle) + comp
I HAVE TAKEN AN ENGLISH CLASS

Present Perfect Continuous:

☺ + HAVE/HAS + BEEN + ACTION VERB + ING + comp
I HAVE BEEN TAKING AN ENGLISH CLASS
STRUCTURE
Es importante recalcar que con Present Perfect Continuous
no podemos usar stative verbs, verbos que expresan un
estado o una condición: Like, love, believe, understand.
Aunque en español nos funcione, en inglés no hay puntos
intermedios.
