This question bothers me, albeit from a different perspective.
example : I finally succeeded to get to the top of a mountain albeit I was
difficult.

allocate: 할당하다, 배당하다

Even though the Red Cross did allocate a large sum for the relief of the sufferers
of the disaster, many people perished.
example :

1. The government allocated to give some money to the whole nation.


2. The boss allocates business to workers.

alter: 변하다, 달라지다 ,바꾸다

example :

1. Jeju island didn’t hasn’t been altered while for two years by the
people.

The people have not altered Jeju Island for two years.

2. I decided to alter my character.

3. I'm compassionate but sometimes my kindness is taken for

ambiguous: 애매모호한, 여러가지로 해석 할 수 있는

His ambiguous instructions misled us; we did not know which road to take.

example :

If I suggest to my friend about going to the a trip to my friend, she

reply replies ambiguously (she replies with an ambiguous answer)

because she has married so she needs to ask permission from to her

husband.

example : I think Korea needs to amend laws because many laws is are

not good for the whole nation. (PRESENT TENSE)

I thought Korea needed to amend laws LAST YEAR because many


laws were not good for the whole nation. (PAST TENSE)

analogy: 비유, 유사점, 유추

comparison based on similarity

example : I have an analogy ( analogies) to with my mother because I’m her


daughter.

I have a similarity with ( similarities with) my mother because I’m


her daughter.

analyse: 분석하다/ analyze
/'ænəlaɪz/ v. test, research, resolve anything complex into its elements;

separate into parts for purpose of examination of each separately

Example : I usually analyse my customer before start to behave through

talking with a customer. I analyze my customers through conversing with


them.

analysis: 분석, 연구
/ə'næləsɪs/ n. Syn. study; investigation, process of breaking down a substance into
its constituent parts
example : If I go to a new place, I do analysis of the situation first.

annual: 매년의, 연간의
/'ænjʊəl/ a. yearly, occurring or payable every year

example : My birthday is an annual event because I like party. If my

friends and my family don’t enjoy with me, I’m upset.
