1. Area has been scanned and no Concerned
underground utilities were found. If any Engineer
such utility were found inform to /Supervisor
PMC/Owner. Excavation permit to be
followed. Manual digging in case of any
U/G lines if possible.
2. All mandatory PPE to be used along Concerned
with nose mask. Engineer

3. Ensure reverse horn in the vehicles. Concerned
Provide visible stopper near the Engineer
excavation trench before reversing /Supervisor
transit mixer or dumper. Provide a
signalman for signaling equipment /
vehicles. Instruct the driver to reverse
the vehicle only after getting signal from
the signalman.
4. Monitoring the soil condition. Safe Concerned
angle of repose should be maintained Engineer
when excavation is deeper than 1.2m /Supervisor
deep. Slope should not be less than 45
deg . Suitable bench of 0.5m depth shall
be provided for every 1.5m depth. If
slope is not possible proper

C.Base Compaction. 1. Roller toppling due to
uneven ground condition.

Vehicle shall not be operate within 2 m

5. Provide hard barrication when depth Concerned
is more than 1.2 m depth all around the Engineer
pit.Don’t keep any materials near the /Supervisor
edge of excavated pit.Access ladder
need to be provided in excvvated pit.
Minimum 500mm wide access way with
proper handrail to be provided. Ensure
proper lighting arrangement at
excavated area. No person should be
work inside the excavated pit during
back filling . Provide walk able
minimum500 mm wide access way to
the bottom of pit with hand rail.
6. Ensure coupling guard for dewatering Concerned
pump. Ensure power connection routed Engineer
through ELCB 30ma for dewatering /Supervisor
pump.
7. Equipment like Roller/Dumpers Concerned
condition should be check regularly. Engineer
/Supervisor
8. Authorized Operator should be Concerned
deployed. Un-authorized person entry Engineer
restricted. One person shall be available /Supervisor
during operation of Equipment if
required.
9.All electrical equipment shall be tested Concerned
and duly certified for safe operation by Engineer
P&M. Double earthing shall be provided /Supervisor
for all electrical equipment and the
same shall be connected through ELCB.
Only dedicated Elecrician shall be
engaged to electrica work.
1. Ground condition shall be checked Concerned
before starts compaction by Roller Engineer
machine. /Supervisor
2. Proper material stacking shall be Concerned
ensured around the compack area. Engineer
