Choosing an Organization and Situation

1)Name and describe your organization.


A new high-tech enterprise proliferates its business. Since the client is in a high-speed growth
industry, it is also the industry with the most intense competition and the fastest changes in
technology and environment. Therefore, the urgent needs of the business cannot be solved
according to the traditional method. It is more likely that after the employees' business skills
have been cultivated, they find that they have yet to adapt to the requirements of the
environment. That is why the company attaches particular importance to the construction of
the middle and senior management team and wants to improve the core business capabilities
and matching leadership of the middle and senior management.
2)Describe your role in the organization (it can be an internal or external role).
My role in the organization is as a project manager responsible for planning and directing the
completion of specific projects while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within
scope.
3)Describe the situation, including information you think will help the reader
The improvement of leadership is a responsibility. According to Bolman and Deal, “Changing old
patterns and mindsets is difficult. It is also risky; it can lead to analysis paralysis, confusion, and
erosion of confidence “ (Bolman, 2021). Only by changing ourselves can we better promote the
change of the team and even affect the change of the organization. In the face of ambiguous,
complex, and ever-changing business environments, leaders need to have the ability to think
independently and identify the root causes to generate innovative solutions.
