Instructions: Read each sentence carefully. One (1) legal dispute is provided for you. Add one (1)
more legal dispute and supply the principal issue based on the legal disputes. Submit your answers
in an A4 size bond paper on or before February 11, 2023. Observe the proper margins.

1. Spouses A & B refuses to pay their debt to their creditor, Mr. T.

Legal Disputes:

(a) Mr. T, the creditor claim that the spouses A & B fails to pay their debts.

(b) The denial of Spouses A & B of the creditor’s claim of non-payment.

Principal Issue: Whether or not the spouses A & B fails to pay their debts, they are obliged to pay.

2. Mrs. B sold a fake Rolex watch to Mr. C for the price of PHP1,000,000.00.

Legal Disputes:

(a) The buyer Mr. C claiming that the Rolex watch that has been bought was fake.

(b) Mrs. B’s denial of the charge against her.

Principal Issue: Whether or not Mrs. B is liable of selling the fake Rolex watch.

3. Architect D, a building official, issues an occupancy permit to Mr. E, the owner of a newly
built 30-storey building with inadequate fire exits

Legal Disputes:

(a) Architect D, a building official, fails to accurately check the building plan with inadequate fire
exits.

(b) Architect D’s denial of the claim.

Principal Issue: Whether or not Architect D negligently issued an occupancy permit.
