Love

When I was a child, I didn't know what Love meant. What does the
word "love" really mean? But when I met him, that's when I knew the word
"Love" It's like the love of one person towards another person. Or they call it a
romance between two people. I am Lucia and this is the story of my love life. I
grew up in a simple and happy family full of love. As a child, I didn't know anything
about love. When I was fifteen years old, my parents separated due to a
misunderstanding that was never resolved. So, my teenage life was a broken
family. Since then, I didn't believe in love. I said if there is love why did my parents
separate? Until I fell in love with a man. I fell in love when I was twenty years old.
I am a second-year college student. I know him because of my friends. He is a
kind, polite, intelligent, hardworking, and understanding person. That's why I fell
in love with him because of his personality that I really admire. We became lovers
until we graduated from college. We were together for over 5 years. We are 25
years old. We started looking for a job for our family's livelihood and for us to
reach our respective dreams. Until the unexpected event of our life, that's where
we end up. I just did not think that the outcome of our lives would be like that.
We also parted due to our misunderstanding. Because we don't agree on planning
our dreams because he has his and I have mine too. So, we didn't understand
each other very well. That's when I learned that love between two people is not
always happy. Sometimes there are real trials, sadness, and misunderstanding.
That became my moral lesson in my life. It hurt to think about it, but we never got
back together. Four years later I am a grown woman. I was promoted in our
company to sales director. The love of my life that I have been waiting for has also
arrived. His name is Alex. He is the only one who understands me, understood my
dream, and loved me purely. I also understood his dreams in life and I supported
him. I also loved him completely. I thought that love between two people is
building a plan together, understanding and supporting each other's dreams. Two
years later we got married. What I learned here is that if you are going to get
married, first make sure that you are really ready for the commitment that must
be performed. In any trial, you will not be left behind. Because love is not all fun,
it also has trials in life. That will strengthen you as a couple. That's what I learned
in the life I went through. I realized why my parents separated because they are
not fully sure of their commitment to each other. They were not strong in their
marriage and their love for each other. So now I figured out the love between two
people. Now as a new parent of my son, I also need to figure out family love and
parent love. I'm on the next journey of my life and will face new challenges in my
life.
