Please replace the Map SD card currently in your navigation system with the enclosed Map SD card by using the following upgrade procedure. This process will take about 6 minutes to complete. Warning To avoid risk of death or serious personal injury when updating the map software: Park the vehicle in a secure, safe, well-ventilated location that is open to the air and apply the parking brake. Remain with the vehicle while the update is in progress. Do not allow children, pets, or people who may need assistance to remain in the vehicle while the software is updating. Procedure Turn off the power to the navigation system. Push in on the SD card in the slot labeled “SD Map” to pop it out of the SD slot. Insert the new card from your map update package. Then turn your navigation system on. After loading the Map SD card, the screen will display the following message:@ Click the Update button. The navigation system screen will display: aM NAN Total: 0% System: 0% Navigation: 0% The system will then display the loading progress as the update installs. When loading is complete, the system will display: TXAM Wao] Download successful. System will reboot now.
