Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup milk

1 large egg

2 tablespoons melted butter

1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, milk, egg, and melted butter.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few
lumps are okay.

Gently fold in the chocolate chips into the batter.

Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat. Add a small amount of butter or oil to grease the surface.

Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and
cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown.

Transfer the cooked pancakes to a plate and cover with a clean kitchen towel to keep them warm while you cook the
remaining batter.

Serve the chocolate chip pancakes warm and, if desired, you can add more chocolate chips and chocolate syrup on
top.
