 1 Download the Emotion Surfers Presets Collection
Unzip the presets file and open the resulting folder. In this folder you will find the
presets files with the .lrtemplate extension. If you have problems downloading
the files, please contact us.

2 Open Lightroom
LR PRESETS At the top left of your desktop go to „Lightroom and then click on „Preferences“.
This will open up a dialog box. There will be several tabs at the top of the new

INSTALLATION window. Please click on the Presets tab. Make sure the „Store Presets with this
catalog“ box is not checked.

IMPORTANT
The Lightroom 7.3 Update introduced a significant change in the way Lightroom works with
presets. The old .Irtemplate files have been exchanged with the newer .xmp format.

Lightroom Classic version 8.0 or higher - you should see two boxes: one that says „Show
Lightroom Develop Presets“ and one that says „Show All Other Lightroom Presets.“ Click on the
box that says „Show All Other Lightroom Presets.

Lightroom Classic (7.0 - 8.0) - you might see only one box that says „Show Lightroom Preset
Folder.“ Click on that one box.

Lightroom Classic (5.0 -7.0) - you‘ll also see a „Show Lightroom Preset Folder“ and should click
on that one.

 3 MOVE PRESETS INTO THE FOLDER
Click on the button labeled Show Lightroom Presets Folder.
There will be a new Finder window that appears. Choose the folder named
Develop Presets. Copy the downloaded folder with your Emotion Surfers
LR PRESETS Presets Collection into the Develop Presets folder. It is recommended that you
copy the preset folder to this new location rather than moving it from its original

INSTALLATION location.

4 RESTART LIGHTROOM AND START EDITING

In order to see and use the new presets you just installed you’ll have to restart
Lightroom.

You should be able to see your new presets on the left side panel of your
screen under “Presets”.
