Standing tall at 1.70 meters, I have pursued dual professions as an ecologist and a lawyer. Through
my combined expertise, I strive to protect and preserve our fragile ecosystem. The marriage vows I
exchanged with Antonio Astaiza, a geographer and lawyer, further strengthened our shared
commitment to environmental stewardship.

Currently, I find myself pursuing a specialization in Environmental Consulting at the prestigious

Iberoamerican University in Mexico. This educational endeavor has deepened my understanding of
environmental challenges and equipped me with the necessary tools to effect positive change.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I have nurtured a deep passion for music. Rock and pop melodies
resonate with my soul, allowing me to find solace and inspiration in their harmonies. Another
source of tranquility for me is the gentle pitter-patter of raindrops. There is something magical
about the rain, as it rejuvenates the Earth and brings forth a sense of renewal.

One of my greatest joys is venturing into the mountains, embarking on long walks that intertwine

rugged terrains and embrace the freedom that nature offers. Riding motorcycles, we venture off

While our lives have not been blessed with children, Antonio and I have found a different path to
contribute to the world we cherish. We are passionate recyclers, recognizing the value of our

lives, ensuring that our home reflects our dedication to sustainability. Furthermore, during our
walks in the mountains, we diligently collect discarded cans, embodying the satisfaction that can

Mi nombre es Sandra Lorena Meléndez Muñoz y me he embarcado en un notable viaje

entrelazado con la naturaleza y la conciencia ambiental. Nacida en la pintoresca ciudad de
Popayán, Cauca, he pasado 44 años enriquecedores abrazando las maravillas del mundo que me
rodea.

Con una estatura de 1,70 metros, he seguido una doble profesión como ecóloga y abogada. A
través de mi experiencia combinada, me esfuerzo por proteger y preservar nuestro frágil
ecosistema. Los votos matrimoniales que intercambié con Antonio Astaiza, geógrafo y abogado,
fortalecieron aún más nuestro compromiso compartido con la conservación ambiental.

En la actualidad, me encuentro cursando una especialización en Consultoría Ambiental en la

prestigiosa Universidad Iberoamericana de México. Este esfuerzo educativo ha profundizado mi
comprensión de los desafíos ambientales y me ha dotado de las herramientas necesarias para
generar un cambio positivo.

Más allá de mis labores profesionales, he cultivado una profunda pasión por la música. Las
melodías del rock y el pop resuenan en mi alma, permitiéndome encontrar consuelo e inspiración
en sus armonías. Otra fuente de tranquilidad para mí es el suave repiqueteo de las gotas de lluvia.
Hay algo mágico en la lluvia, ya que rejuvenece la Tierra y evoca un sentido de renovación.

Una de mis mayores alegrías es adentrarme en las montañas, embarcarme en largas caminatas que
se entrelazan con la serenidad de la naturaleza. El aire fresco, las vistas majestuosas y la armonía
del canto de los pájaros crean una sinfonía que envuelve mis sentidos. Compartiendo estas
aventuras con mi pareja, exploramos los terrenos agrestes y abrazamos la libertad que la
naturaleza nos ofrece. Montando motocicletas, nos aventuramos por senderos menos transitados,
deleitándonos en la emoción del viaje.

Aunque nuestras vidas no han sido bendecidas con hijos, Antonio y yo hemos encontrado otro
camino para contribuir al mundo que apreciamos. Somos apasionados recicladores, reconociendo
el valor de nuestras acciones en la preservación del medio ambiente. Hemos incorporado prácticas
de reciclaje en nuestra vida cotidiana, asegurándonos de que nuestro hogar refleje nuestra
dedicación a la sostenibilidad. Además, durante nuestras caminatas en las montañas, recogemos
diligentemente latas desechadas, encarnando la satisfacción que solo pueden entender los
entusiastas de la naturaleza.
