Debriefing Assessment

Based on the simulation assessment, the information concerning Luciana Gonzalez's

situation was easy to understand. Understanding patient signs is vital since, in the scenario,

the patient had auscultation of the heart, lungs, and abdomen. After knowing the issues, one

would articulate the right question to ask and determine the patient's blood pressure. This

ensured I could get accurate feedback. However, I feel the scenario was realistic, although it

can be determined in different regions. It is because when patients have painful urination or

reoccurring urinary signs, the signs necessitates for quick examination and care from health

providers.

I would foster positive interaction when handling a patient with a similar condition. It

will ensure that I can listen to his breathing and lung. Furthermore, ensuring positive

interaction through understanding what to ask will provide the patient can easily share

information with me. On improvement, there is a need for referral where patients need to

understand more about their health. It can be based on a teaching approach for medication

and compliance with a healthy diet. However, I was surprised by the feedback provided by

iHuman. It is because one needs to follow patterns during the assessment. Furthermore,

asking questions ensured I understood the patient's health history.

The simulation helps me understand patient signs through proper auscultation

techniques and blood pressure. In the current environment, most patients are diagnosed with

high blood pressure, and the reading may not be fostered accurately or cared for. It was

interesting to note that the simulation gave accurate readings. This creates an outcome that

allows one to fully understand the patient in nursing care. In most cases, when the reading is

inaccurate, it is difficult to understand the outcome. Overall, during the simulation, I could

review and understand patient health.
