REFLECTION PAPER

Card MRI is a microfinance institution which aims to empower

socially and economically challenged women and families through
continuous access to financial, micro insurance, educational,
livelihood, health and other capacity-building services that
eventually transform them into responsible citizens for their
community and environment. I learned that Card MRI is a
microfinance NGO initiates programs not only in education but
also health and agriculture. Card MRI offers a variety of
services which involved loans, savings, and remittance that is
very convenient to their customers. They aimed to help a lot of
people to eradicate poverty which is very relevant nowadays. I
also learned that Card MRI financial assistance program not only
provides financial assistance in form of loans but also gives
emphasis on educating, through financial literacy programs for
their members and for their families to attain financial freedom.
They believe that the lack of education is one of the factor that
contributes to the high incidence of poverty in the country,
which is why Card MRI prioritizes not only financial assistance
but also education. Thanks to Card MRI because it enlightens me
to fully understand the real meaning of microfinance.
