Introduction
Hello and thank you for downloading this Voice Attack profile and also
for reading this READMEE. While I hope that the use of this Voice
Attack Profile is straight forward, I’d like to cover everything I can.
There are some neat and useful features in this READMEE. Please take
a look at the Voice Attack Help PDF as it will teach you how to
efficiently use VoiceAttack. You will even learn how to modify the
Commands in this Profile to your liking! Keep in mind that I do not have
VAICOM PRO, therefore I cannot test the profile with VAICOM in mind.

Thank you to all those who have contributed to this VA Profile!

3
Important Notes
• Please Read this READMEE
• Please unbind F11 and F12 Keys. This helps the VA profile let you use
the radios whenever you want.
• Please look at the keyboard.html files and match your keybinds in-
game if you can.
• You can import F14BPilotKeyboard.diff.lua and
F14BRioKeyboard.diff.lua if you wish.
• The Startup Commands are experimental. Use with caution.
• The Beta features are experimental. Use with caution.

7
How To Install: Method A
For those unfamiliar with VA (Voice Attack), here is how you Import this
Profile. The process should be similar to most other VA Profiles.

8
How To Install: Method B (pg2)
• If you prefer to use another
profile with this one, do not
worry. This is how you do that.
As you can see here, sometimes
I like to play some music while I
fly.

9
How To Install: Extras (pg3)
• Put the kneeboard files in your Saved
Games location > kneeboard > F-14B
• Example: C:\Users\Bailey\Saved
Games\DCS.openbeta\Kneeboard\F-14B\
• You may have to create the above
folder
• You don't have to use them if you
don’t want to.
• There are also VoiceAttack Sound
Files. Put those in
C:\...\VoiceAttack\Sounds so that it
looks like →
C:\...\VoiceAttack\Sounds\ Bailey F14
• Sounds were obtained from Heatblur F14B and
SimpleRadio Standalone (SRS)

10
How To Install (pg4)
And that should be it. You can use the F14 VA freely. Keep in mind that I
do not have VAICOM PRO. Because of this fact I cannot assist with any
compatibility issues regarding VAICOM. If I get VAICOM in the future or
I am gifted VAICOM, I’d be happy to troubleshoot and try to make sure
that the DCS F14 VA works with it. Please refer to the VAICOM PRO
README when attempting to use this VA profile with VAICOM.

Remember, if you want to use other profiles with this one, please add
them under “Include commands from other profiles” in VoiceAttack
Profile Options.

11
How to Use the DCS F14 VA
All you have to do is speak the magic phrase and Jester or Iceman
comes to life! There are few main things to remember:
• Say “Jester” to get to the Main Rose Menu.
• Say “Hey Jester” to get to the Context Rose Menu
• Say “Nevermind” to exit the Rose Menu
• You can skip both the Main Rose and Context Rose menus by saying
“Jester [InsertHere]”. Instead of saying InsertHere, you would say
“Jester Tacan” to get to the Tacan Menu, for example.

12
How to Use the DCS F14 VA (pg2)
• You can say “Press 1” or “Command 1” to activate Number 1 on the
Command Rose, all the way up to “Press 8”. This is useful if you want to use
your voice, but there is no VA command for that Rose option. “Press” and
“Command” are ALWAYS AVAILBE FOR USE.
• The speed at which the VA/Jester inputs commands can be changed. This
may be necessary for those with Rose Wheel problems relating to
framerate. They are likely not necessary. The commands are:
• “Jester normal input”
• “Jester slow input”
• “Jester fast input”
• “Jester ludicrous input”
• Have fun! You can talk to Jester as much or as little as you like. This profile
will NOT block the native way you select Jester options. Sometimes it is
easier or faster to select something using a POV hat or TrackIR. 13
Jester ClickAttack
• When you select this profile for
the first time you will be
presented with Jester ClickAttack
Setup.
• Chose your resolution from the
dropdown menu. Unfortunately
not all resolutions are
supported. You can help get your
resolution in the profile if you
contact me directly. Your help
can help tons of others! (and its
ez pz)
14
Jester ClickAttack (pg2)
• Use Middle Mouse Click (MMC)
to interact with Jester
ClickAttack.

Jester Tune Manual
I have introduced an experimental
feature that will allow you to
instantly tune a manual frequency.
Here are the rules for it to work:
• Say “Jester manual XXXXX”
• In the place of XXXXX, say 5 digits
• Jester will tune that frequency
assuming VoiceAttack heard 5
digits and that they are the ones
you said
• If “Jester manual” isn’t a good
keyword for you, feel free to
change it 25
Radio Menu Tips and Tricks
• You can say “Jester Tune Anapa
Tower” and Jester will tune the
correct frequency into the radio.
Replace [Anapa] with any airport of
your choice on either the Caucus map
or the Persian Gulf Map. They are all
in there
• You can Say “Jester Tune GAW ATC”
and he will tune the appropriate
channel. (Georgia at War is a popular
PvE multiplayer server)
• “Jester Manual *****” followed by 5
digits will command Jester to tune
whatever freq you want (Beta)

DCS Communication
Menus
Back in the day the DCS F1-F12 menus
were the only way to communicate in
the DCS World. No more! I Present to
you the Wingman Profile (not to be
confused with “a” Wingman profile).
This has been integrated into this F14
VoiceAttack for complete compatibility.
Due to how DCS works, you will have to
chose what radio in order to talk to
whom. For example, if you say
“Wingman on radio 2”, you can then talk
to them. Similarly for other entities and
radios. 108
DCS Comm Menus (pg2)
You can go through the Comm menu at
any point, in order. For example:
You want your third wingman to shoot
some tanks. You can say:
• Wingman Three [pause] Engage
[pause] Ground targets
or you can say
• Wingman Three Engage [pause]
Ground targets
or you can say
• Wingman Three Engage Ground
targets 109
DCS Comm Menus (pg3)
This method allows you to work through
the menus as you desire, or say the entire
phrase for you Hotshots out there!
The double dots indicate that the
commands don’t need the intermediate
command when said collectively. For
Example
• Flight [pause] Goto [pause] Return to
Base
Or
• Flight Goto [pause] Return to Base
Or
• Flight Return to Base 110
DCS Comm Menus (pg4)
There are more Comm Menu pages in
the Kneeboard files assuming you
decided to install them ☺
You can also simply say “F1” or “F6”, for
example, to select options that are not
currently supported (e.g. Jtac, CTLD,
Other Menu). Let me know if you want
those features in a future update!

111
Jester Startup
• This feature is experimental and
still in development.
• You can either do a normal
Startup, an Assisted Start, or even
an Auto Start.

112
Jester Startup
• During any of the starts you can
say Check, and Loud and Clear to
respond to Jester
• You can also VoiceAttack the level
of INS alignment

113
Jester Startup
• You can even have him abort the
Startup process if you like.
• You can also VoiceAttack the Crew
Chief.
• Take a look at the Quick look
commands.

114
Jester Startup
Countermeasures
• To change the Countermeasure
Loadout, Heatblur recommends
using the Ground Crew to do so
• You can achieve that by saying
“Chief loadout 1-7”. No need to
touch the Communication Menu
• To view the different loadouts,
say “Chief load countermeasures”
then “Loadout 1-7”

115
Jester Startup Tips and Tricks
• “Chief Let’s Get The Party
Started” will AutoStart the Jet
and also bring up the Rearm and
