The University has been established by the Govt. of Rajasthan, under Ordinance 6 of 2007. It is a UGC
recognized university as per Sec. 2f of the UGC Act 1956.
Singhania University is situated at Pacheri Bari, Distt. Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan) on the Delhi-Narnaul
Singhana - Pilani Road. It is about 160 kms. west of Delhi and about 165 kms. north of Jaipur. The
University can be reached either by rail or by road. The nearest railway stations are Narnaul (19 kms.) and
Chirawa (45 kms.)
The campus that covers an area of about 30 acres of land is picturesque and away from the din of the
metropolis. The serenity of the hill locks all around endow the campus with an ideal environment for
education and research.

RECOGINATION
The University
The University has been established by the Govt. of Rajasthan, under Ordinance 6 of 2007. It is a UGC
recognized university as per Sec. 2f of the UGC Act 1956.The University is entitled to conduct various
courses at UG, PG and Doctoral level as described in schedule of the Act.
UGC Approved
University Grant Commission is the highest authority to empower approval and recognitions to establish
university and run any course as per direction provided by MHRD to UGC. Singhania University is listed
at UGC portal under private Universities, Rajasthan.
AICTE Approved
As per law, Universities do not require AICTE approval (AICTE notification No. UB/04(03)/2010). Only
institutions which are affiliated to Universities require approval. As Singhania University is a Self-
Financed University established by a State Act, it does not require AICTE approval. This standing of law is
notified in the case of Bharathidasan University Vs AICTE.
NCTE Approved
As per law, Universities do not require NCTE approval to run any teaching courses. This has been well
notified by Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Basic Education Board, UP V Upendra Rai & Ors. Repoted
in (2008) 3 SSC 432 that ordinary educational institutions like universities do not require any recognition
from NCTE and same judgement has given by Rajshan High court for acceptance at B.Ed degree in
Government Jobs (Same is available at university website).

The Prospect students are required to submit admission form dully filled up and signed by them along with

within 24 hours of student registration process.
Mandatory Documents for Admission

➢ Duly filled Admission Form or Online Application Form (Name should exactly as it is mentioned on 10th
Standard Mark sheet)
➢ Student Signature on Admission Form has to match with ID Card Submitted
➢ Self-Attested Photocopy of Degree Certificate (For B.ED and all Post graduate level Program)
➢ Self-Attested Photocopy of All Year/All Semester Mark sheets (For B.ED and all Graduate/Post
graduate level Program)
➢ Self-Attested Photocopy of 10th Std., 12th Std, Diploma Engineering, ITI Mark sheet & Certificate
(Whichever is applicable in all programs)
➢ Passport size colour photo – 4 copies/ or Soft Copy.
➢ Photocopy of Govt. Photo ID Proof (Preferably Aadhaar Card or PAN Card, Voter’s ID, DL or Passport)
➢ In Case of Name Change, Need Name Change document.
➢ Fees as per our Fees Policy.
➢ In case of Instalments, Student must have to submit Instalment payment (EMI) request form..
➢ Letter of Undertaking, if Required (as per case requirement and norms of university)

➢ The eligibility criteria for every program are clearly mentioned on our website under the programs. The
student should ensure that they satisfy the eligibility norms for the program they wish to enrol.
➢ The Candidate has to ensure their education / qualifying degree has been issued from a recognized
university/board only.
➢ The name of student mentioned in application form must be same as mentioned on 10th Standard
Mark sheet and in case of name change, a name change document/affidavit to be submitted.
➢ If admission cancelled due to wrong information or incomplete information then there is no refund.

ASSIGNMENT SUBMISSION
ONLINE ASSIGNMENT
After completing the above activities
The students would get access to the
Subject wise assignments.
Assignments
➢ The students have been provided with assignment questions at the student login portal.
➢ Students should submit/upload assignment at the student portal before one month of the exam
Starts or as per the university notification date.
➢ The student should score 40% in every assignment to pass in respective assignment.
➢ Assignment marks are considered in the final mark sheet generated by the university and
assignment would have 20 percentage weightage for the same while exam would have 80%
weightage for final score card.
➢ If university ask for Hardcopy of assignment then university will provide assignment books and
student need to submit assignment hardcopy as per scheduled date announced by university.
Examination
➢ Examinations are tentatively conducted between 15th – 30th May and December. The time table
details would be communicated to students in advance.
➢ Second Attempt examination fees (Per subject): Rs 500.
➢ If any student hall ticket is generated but not attended exam then also they have to pay re-appear
exam fees of Rs 500 per subject for Indian Student and $50 for other student.
➢ If student have enrolled for particular session but not attended exam then they have to pay re-appear
exam fees of Rs 500 per subject for Indian Student and $50 for other student.
➢ Student need “No Dues certificate” and all fees should be clear before exam form filling and
student without full fees payment are not allowed to give their examinations.
Project Guidelines
➢ For Program with project work students are required to submit a soft copy and hard copy.
➢ The project topic will be course and industry related topic only.
➢ Project evaluation charges are Rs. 2,000/- for Indian Student and $100 for other student.
Mark sheets
➢ Once student complete all the mandated assignments, examinations and projects the final mark
sheets would be declared online and then it will be dispatched.
➢ The mark sheets would be issued / declared by the university within 3 months from date of exams.;
