Introduction:

Cinematography is the art or science of motion pictures photography that has a lot of technique. This
art is exclusive for entertainment; there a lot of varieties of films and directors but the works of S.
Spielberg have many influences in the industry

This research presents the theme: Steven Spielberg influences in entertainment.

In our investigation our research question is: How does Spielberg influence in the cinematographic
industry?

This research is important for us because we know more of Steven Spielberg and his films. We think
this theme can help us to know how to film industry works.

The objectives of this research are three. To begin with to develop the capacity to present a formal
research us a written paper in English. Secondly, to present a written research in oral form using
English language. Finally to develop the abilities for investigation as a part of a systematic procedure

At the beginning we search in internet and choose the best information. Then we organized the
information. Later on, we started writing the paper. Finally, we finish the paper. We worked between
13 of May and 23 of august. Most of our research was develop in class. But we also worked in house

General information

Steven Allan Spielberg was born on 18 of December in Cincinnati, Ohio. Known as Steven Spielberg,
is a director, screenwriter, film producer and video game designer. Spielberg one of the most
influential directors for the industry, is a partner of DreamWorks Studios.

During his teens. Spielberg made amateur 8 minutes films perform with his friends. The scenery of
the movie was a model of the remains of a destroyed train.

After being hired by the television production division of Universal, he began directing episodes of
series like Marcus Welbyand, Columbo, but the unexpected success of the film version of his TV
movie Duel (1971) opened the doors of the big screen. On his first feature film for the big screen in
1974, The Sugar Land Express.

Spielberg and George Lucas (another director), met in 1967, and now, they are good friends. They
made “Star Wars” popular film in 1977 and “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” in
2008. Steven Spielberg was nominated seven times for an Academy Award in the category of Best
Director. His film “Schindler’s List”, amongst audiences and critics helped him win his first Oscars in
1994; this film was recognized as Best Director and won Best film (having previously been nominated
3 times for the first prize).. Also, he was one of the most honored films of the years, winning four
Oscars again, and two Golden Globes for “Best motion picture drama” and best director.. Spielberg
directed and produced popular films like

Unlike other directors who often have a specific planification, Spielberg has devoted his films, across
genres, to representing how people interact, emotions or sometimes war. At the beginning of his
career, Spielberg broke into the film industry with sensational action and special effects , “Jaws” and
“Close encounters of the third kind” defined a new generation of film which paved the way for
others films with big boom and big budgets.

Without Spielberg films with especial effects and beautiful dialog; the relationship of he and George
Lucas as the father of generating computer special effects, let Spielberg that his films were more
popular and influential for cinematographic history, For Example, Star Wars, a film that was made
with very special effects.

Regarding this topic the experts of The Producers Guild of America Award (PGA) honored Spielberg
with the prestigious “Milestone award” and says that he has made a historic contribution to the film
industry.

Secondly, Spielberg is one of history’s most influential Hollywood film directors, as well as a producer
and writer. Through the film industry, Spielberg has earned tremendous success from movies such as
“Jaws” and “E.T, The Extraterrestrial”. In fact, it was Spielberg’s movie saws that marked the
beginning of the Hollywood Fashion movie category.

Spielberg founded the first organization primarily focused on collecting historical testimonies and
writings from survivors of the holocaust.-The Shoah Foundation-.. Spielberg was able to realize an
objective, the founding of a new production studio and music company, DreamWorks SKG, with
entertainment industry giants, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffe.

For example, in October 2008 DreamWorks agreed to its relationship with Paramount Pictures and
re-established as an independent company with the financial support of an Indian group.

made the world a better place because his incredible achievements, such as DreamWorks SKG that

Conclusion

This paper analyses a cinematographic field. The theme of the research we have presented above
was Steven Spielberg influences in entertainment. This is a very important character in the film
industry because he changed and improved the style and quality of films.

The research question we stated was: How Does Steven Spielberg influenced in cinematographic
industry? The answers we got are: Firstly, his theme in all his films is of connections of people, Also,
he included Special Effects and Booms. Secondly, He founded a new production studio and music
company, DreamWorks SKG.

Expert as The Producers Guild of America Award PGA and the experts Keith Veronese and Annalee
Newitz honored him for his historic contribution and also says that Spielberg has made the world a
better place.

We think that our objectives were made perfectly because we follow the format of the class doing
this very well done presentation.

We think that this research was very important to us because we learnt to make and present a
quality work, and know about the contribution of the great and incredible man, Steven Spielberg.
