PRESS RELEASE

**********************************************************************************************

The Wytches need very little introduction, but it is with no little excitement that we welcome back Brighton’s purveyors
of melody for album four – all raucous and unruly, yet glistening with jagged edged poetic wistfulness and undeniable
emotional clout.. The former Transgressive/ Heavenly Records act return with their fourth studio album in September
on Alcopop! Records this year - and it's definitely their best yet, all raw-throat punk, stoner/doom psych, riffing
swagger, and perhaps just the tiniest hint of delicious folk twinkling... Just get it in your ears. It’s glorious.

The album will be out via Alcopop! on vinyl and digitally, with a special Dinked edition all announced on the 4th May.
The dinked edition (500 copies) will contain a glow in the dark patch and several original Super 8 film cells from the
actual 'Maria' Video on a signed collectors card.

Pull quotes from last campaign:

"Crusading, crunching indie punk, there's a dash of melodrama to the songwriting that makes 'Cowboy' thoroughly
addictive.” – Clash

“Gnarly Disgusting Psych Rock. Super Visceral” - The Needle Drop

"‘Cowboy’ is a welcoming crescendo back into their world - more ramshackle and hypnotising than ever before but
packing that underbelly of darkness that made The Wytches such buzzy favourites.” – Dork Magazine

"On Three Mile Ditch The Wytches have crafted their most considered work to date.” – Upset Magazine 4/5

“Marking a special return, The Wytches’ jet black soundscapes have no doubt been missed. Three Mile Ditch is raw and
absorbing, and it deserves our full attention.” – The Line of Best Fit 8.5/10
