Philippians 2:1-
v1 Your life in CHRIST makes you
STRONG, and his LOVE comforts you.

Our CHURCH is not only the church
places, but it can help us CHANGE OUR

LIVES thru our DECISION, when we go to

CHURCH
- The more we are united with LOVE,
the more we CONQUER

1 Peter 4:
Above everything, LOVE one another
earnestly, because love COVERS OVER
MANY SINS

Church is design for our community

because a true church is the people
inside it, and the signi cance of his/ her
life is LOVING GOD, LOVING PEOPLE
- The day that we loved each other

RECONCILIATION IN THE CHURC

2 Corinthians 5:17-19 & 2
v17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is
a NEW CREATION; The old has gone, the
new has come.”
- Paul teaches us being “in Christ” results
in a person becoming a “new creation”!
God has provided SALVATION and
RECONCILIATION for us through the
SACRIFICE of HIS SON.

Now have a NEW IDENTITY as a SON or

DAUGHTER of God

v18 All this is from God, who reconciled us

to himself through Christ and gave us the
MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION

RECONCILIATION IN 2 Corinthians 5:18?

- The ministry of reconciliation refers to

the work believers have been given to do
and the message they declare: you can
have a restored relationship with God
through Jesus.
- Once our relationship with God has been
RESTORED, we are called into his
SERVICE.
- Reconciliation also known as
CONFESSION or PENANC
is a sacrament instituted by JESUS
CHRIST in his LOVE and MERCY to offer
sinners FORGIVENESS for offenses
committed against God

- Restoring our right relationship to God,

Jesus also opened the door for us to
LIVE IN RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with
each other, Creation, and ourselves
- Reconciliation s essential for building
STRONG RELATIONSHIP and UNITING
DIVERSE COMMUNITIES

WHY IS RECONCILIATION IMPORTANT

TO THE CHURCH
- this MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION
can set us free from our sins, and from
the burden of guilt that comes along with
our sins. We are brought back into union
with God

Reconciliation starts with
UNDERSTANDING that we are lost sinners
in need of a SAVIOR, then confessing our

making his appeal through us. We implore
you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to

3. As Christ Ambassador, God has given
us the task of telling everyone what he is

Psalm 103:
“Bless the LORD, O, my soul, and all that
is within me, bless his holy name.

“Love God with all your heart.” means

Conclusion
What is the meaning of there is no greater
love than this to lay down one’s life for
ones’s friends
John 15:1

- When Jesus says to “Love each other as

I have loved you” he’s referring to how
he’s about to lay down his life for them.
