EPL

INTERDUCTION

It includes all the daily exercises which are performed at home and the child finds pleasure in doing them. Children are very interested in activities & they have an inner urge to perform these activities. Dr.maria Montessori began using what she calledpracticle life exercise to allow the child to do activities of daily life & therefore adapt & orientate him self in his society .these are called development activities. These activities are very friendly to child but at home we should not allow doing with out a parents help. We as teachers we want to teach them the correct method. The main aim of EPL is to develop co-ordination of movements thereby making the child independent & confidant. If child use to learn these activities in their early childhood they can use these methods in future. They learn how to use these equipments & cleanliness. The purpose of EPL is Physical-develop fine & gross motor skills Psychological-to make the child normalization Educational-learn a lot about the environment Emotional-satisfaction Social-interactive with other children Spiritual-the child built values around him Moral-what is good & bad There are 04 main categories in exercise of practical life. Which have being divided according to their nurture & propose they are Elementary movements Care of one self Care of environment Social behavior Under these we are going through only for elementary movements & social behaviors.

CONCLUSION

Exercises of practical life & sensorial is most important & useful subjects for the development of the child. We as teachers should teach the proper way & we must encourage the child. These exercises can develops childs small muscles & the concentration. By these activities they do not make much noise in the classroom. They can develop their normal life exercises by doing these activities & child will grasp it quickly. Sensorial activities are very use full activities the can learn while play. Child leans to keep whatever they take in the same place & the child gets good knowledge by this activities. There is particular age for these activities adult has to teach these activities in that age. In the course of working with this project, I have being inspired by the tenacity wisdom & intellectuality of the teacher miss: Sabrina banu & her assistant miss: jerusha. Im grateful to them for their affectionate encouragement. They did

their best no one will get a good practical session what we get. I would like to thank miss: lathika to giving a great opportunity for us. I honestly feel that my entire engraver to place these books in the hands of teacher would have been a wild goose chase, if my parents & siblings are not. I shall be falling in my duty if I to express my deep sense gratitude to those who helped in many ways, without their encouragement the project should not have seen today .once again I would like to thank for every one thanks a lot.
