Unit 3

This document contains the work of a student named Ethan Luke P. Magsakay for Unit III of their BSIT course. It includes a pre-test, four activities drawing entity relationship diagrams based on narratives, and a post-test. For the activities, the student drew the equivalent EERDs and provided the required information. In their reflection, the student notes they now understand extra parts of EERDs like supertypes and subtypes, generalization and specialization, overlapping rules, and subtype discriminators.

REFLECTION
After the lesson, I have clearly understood the extra parts of the entity relationship diagram. I learned about
Supertypes and Subtypes, Generalization and Specialization, Overlapping Rules, and Subtype Discriminators. I
could say that this unit was much easier to understand than the previous one, but that might just be because of
the prior experience that I’ve gotten from Unit 2. Overall, my understanding of the unit is clear, and I have no
further questions.
