After learning the lessons on Unity 1, I’ve learned some basic information
about Database, File system and Management System, Database Application and
Database types, Database environment & users, the Database Development
Process, and Three-Level Architecture and Data Independence. From users to the
entire database hardware and software itself, it would take time in order to fully
understand it.
However, thanks to the activities and segmented information in each
lesson, it became easier to understand on how things are working. The activities
felt like it has an actual purpose in making us know the general yet important
details. Information Management is a broad subject. This is only the
fundamentals, yet the realization of how data is created, read, updated, and
deleted in companies in their own use cases makes it feel that we are barely
scratching the surface.
