The goal of this piece is the overtones heard from within the piano. suggest
placing a mic(s) inside the piano. do not mic the hammers (close mic),
place higher up capturing the bath of overtones created. this may take time
to get the right sound without capturing the hammered notes. think of
creating a live overtone synth pad. amplify that. use a compressor. Its why
the intro and outdo have pedal down and are played slowly, to bathe in the
overtones.

The intro, simple amplification of this sound.

in the outro, process the mic(s) create a (feedback) loop, get creative- use
of granular synthesis. may result in a low bass pad feel. I used Abelton Live
a software meant to be an instrument for live performance. begin mic/
processing bar 44 of main piece, dove tail into the outro.

do not use a gate, sound be a continuous. may need to fade out between
intro and main body of piece. for the outro, let it run and fade to taste at the
end of the piece.

use the mic for the intro and outro only. the main body of the piece, is
simply a classically based piano piece. The intro and outro are very slow,
embrace the overtones in-between the played notes, let ring out, be subtle
on played notes coming back in. proper amplification with assist in
providing this delicate sound.
