In today’s modern-day classroom, the role of the teacher is more than that of the educator.

Teachers are now expected to create positive bonds with pupils and classrooms in which they

can benefit in both academically and socially profitable ways. Positive bonds between a pupil

and teacher are named as having closeness, nearness, warmth, and positivity (Hamre and Pianta,

2001).

In classrooms, today teachers are facing many challenges in understanding why students are

facing difficulties in learning. Teachers have to maintain discipline and enhance the learning

experiences of pupils. Teachers play a vital role in the learning of pupils, their behaviors

influence the learning of pupils in their classroom. Students share their ideas and participate in

front of teachers who provide them with opportunities in the classroom (Abdullah, Bakar, and

Mahbob, 2012). In schools, most of the learning activities occur in the classroom where learners

and educators come into contact to share ideas in the learning process. For the teacher, classroom

time is a brilliant chance to meet up close and personal with the students, conveying the

showing material successfully with the expectation to guarantee that learners are realizing what

is being instructed. Students are expected to be in the classroom and partake in discussions and

other learning exercises. The classroom is seen as a two-way path of communication between

instructors and learners. This kind of classroom animates learning and makes both the educator

and learners feel fulfilled, which prompts a powerful learning process.

Most students can gain the advantages of the classroom when given the opportunity to contribute

to the class discourse (Wade, 1994). Based on this research, it can be understood that learners

would only gain the most of their classroom environment, If the relationship between the

learners and teacher is one of respect and they both feel comfortable, then they are to participate
more effectively in classroom discussions. Powerful learning processes happen when both

subjects of the classroom effectively partake in learning experiences.

Positive and healthy associations between learner and teacher empower students to feel protected

and secure in their learning surroundings to participate in classroom debate and give a

framework to critical social and scholarly abilities. Students learning and academic achievements

are enhanced when teachers provide freedom to participate in the discussion and their learning

condition can emphatically affect their social relations in society. The results of the study

conducted by the cited authors showed that there is a connection between teacher behavior and

participation by the learners in the classroom (O'Connor, Dearing, & Collins, 2011; Silver,

Measelle).

Teachers ought to know about the necessities of the profession. They are role models for society

and children because they know good and evil and they are considered the pillars of the nation’s

progress. They are also changing agents and specialists of improvement and they may accept

their role and pay attention to performing their role positively. The educator is a creator, an

originator of educational programs, and improves the learning setting. At the point when teachers

shape positive relations with learners, the environment of classrooms is changed and it shows a

healthy environment for students learning.

After examining this research conducted, one potential flaw is that they may place too much

emphasis on building the teacher-pupil relationship. In some cases, where children may build

too strong of a relationship with a particular teacher and her learning styles they face difficulties

in transitioning to another class or grade level.
