D: Hi Thifany, how’s it going?

T: Hi Dayana, I’m great, and you?

D: Couldn’t be better. By the way, what did you do yesterday?

T: Yesterday, I went to the zoo with my family because it was my cousin’s birthday.

D: That sounds interesting, I always wanted to go to the zoo. What kind of animals did you see there?

T: I saw giraffes, penguins, monkeys, turtles and many more, but what most caught my attention was the hippo. I learned many things
about them.

D: That’s amazing. I want to know about the hippos. Can you tell me what a hippo is?

T: A hippo is a semi-aquatic animal. They are bulky, quadruple animals with a plump body.

D: Oh, they look like bears. Do you know where they live?

T: They live in the rivers and lakes of Africa, in dense and humid forest and jungles.

D: I see, I’d like to know what kind of food they eat.

T: It’s very interesting because they are herbivores so the kind of food they eat is basically grass, various plants and some fruits that fall
from the trees.

D: Everything sounds very interesting. I was also investigating some animals for my science class.

T: I wonder what animals are.

D: I was researching about tigers, whales, and crocodiles

T: wow, I want to know more about tigers. Do you have any idea what tigers eat?

D: They are carnivorous. So, tigers eat monkeys, turkeys, rabbits and even fish.

T: and I can't remember what the habitat of tigers is?

D: I’m not sure what the habitat of tigers is but I think their habitat are jungles and savannahs.

T: What about whales? What do you know about them?

D: They are not fish. Whales are the largest animals in the world.

T: Oh wow. Do you remember what food they eat?

D: Well, they eat crustaceans and small fishes.

T: I have a question, aren’t they wild?

D: That’s true, but they are very intelligent and sociable animals as well.

T: that’s nice. Do you know in which countries there are whales?

D: I think there are whales in Mexico, USA, Canada, Argentina, etc.

T: Cool. You mentioned crocodiles before, right? What about them?

D: Yes, these are my favorite animals because they are very savage and dangerous.

T: I think I saw them in the zoo, but I can’t remember where the habitat is.

D: Well, you can find them in America, Asia, Africa.

T: that’s awesome.

D: I want to go to the zoo to see crocodiles and other animals of course.

T: let’s go together!

D: yeah, why not?

T: perfect! I’ll call you later. But now I have to go, see you later.

D: see you, have a great day. Bye.
